I've used the Firestick with no problems. Remember that using UI3 is not quite the same as a camera, or three, using WiFi. The bandwidth utilization is far lower.

I use Tinycam Pro Tasker running on a 10” Firetab with a Vidabox frame and has it wall mounted in my family room. Then remotely switch views using HomeSeer when an alert is triggered.
