hi, the camera shows me 2 options; h264 and h265, SS shows 2 options mpeg and h264. No 264+...

I indeed use motion detection from the camera.

just out of curiosity how was the set up? i have 2 of these and i cant register the camera or set/reset the password have called and posted everywhere 123456789abc and every combination does not work how did you set up your cameras? do you remember the how you first set yours up

I had to load the SADP version that comes on disk with camera. It shows the camera as "deactivated". Once you select the camera, it forces you to provide a password to activate it. Once you do that, you can change the IP address if you want and configure it.
