What did i just witness?

wow, ominous music overlaid to brown people. Must be those "mexican thugs and rapists". I saw an uncle that just helped his nephew buy his first house, as a congratulation for graduating summa cum laude.

Take your woke nonsense and shove it up your ass. Unfortunately lots of Mexican/Honduran/Guatemalan etc thugs and and rapists illegally crossing the border every day bringing horrific crime and deadly drugs with them. You should know that, you are from Cali, notwithstanding your fake profile. If you think you will generate a profile and promote leftist shit on your first post here you are wrong. I will ban your ass twitter style.

I watched this w/o the nefarious music so wasn't unduly influenced. _vin wants to down play what is going but he knows it is human trafficking. All the players may be willing participants but a sum of money was paid to get a loved one safely into the US. I saw a man and wife pay so her brother would be given passage into the country and turned over in Houston. The guy got out and stayed put until given the go ahead. The husband recorded the reunion without fear of the smugglers. The smugglers weren't afraid of getting turned in since they had just provided a service the family was willing to pay. The family brought their son with them so again, they were in no fear of the smugglers. The boy was kept in the van though until his father gave him the go ahead to run up and say hello to his tio. I don't think the guy had been roughed up. He got tangled up in Texas scrub brush. His shirt was ripped by thorns or by crawling through barbed wire fences. He probably stepped on a mesquite thorn. Probably fell and sprained his wrist. I have looked just like that after a day clearing land. God willing this is a hard working young man that came here to escape economic hardship down south. Similar scenes occur countless times each day and there are instances of horrible people getting smuggled in. Also there are instances of innocence being shattered by horrible people smuggling children in for prostitution etc. Maybe society would sympathize with this case but we should not ever pretend that human trafficking doesn't get much uglier!

I know everyone in one political party could watch this video and 100% wouldn't have seen anything. The background music fit in nicely with the video.

Yep, the police told me, even if they put this guy away, another 10 will step in his place. As long as the families pay they will continue to bring them and hold them until they are paid.

Hmm, definitely weird. But if it was illegal activity, I wonder why they would have hung out for so long chit-chatting. And why the lady and the other guy shook hands with people in the car after they just got someone they hugged from the ones in the car. And in broad daylight.
I say they are way to comfortable doing this, because it's all they do until they are caught, or killed. Because I am sure they've been caught before. But they just get out and go back to business.

Yes. Notice that the driver kept his door open the whole time. That was in case he needed to bail quickly. Door already open. They can take their time as they know nobody is going to bother them.

If you watch the guy with the cash walk back to his car, he is holding the cash in his left hand. His gym pants seem to be 'heavy' on the left side. Probably has a pistol in that left pocket.

Why did they pick this particular spot to stop? They wanted video proof that the trade was made and everyone was happy.
Yes I also assumed pistol was in that pocket. But also noticed how they all think they are so smart. But the smart ass didn't even look around for cameras.

If there's one thing that I've learned from this site, it's that some of you guys have wayyyy more interesting cams than I do. lol
Lol yeah I was done with cameras 7 cameras ago. But if i had not picked up four more cameras on Black Friday, I would not have had this video. But I have enough cameras now 17 each one serves a purpose. At least that's what I have to tell the boss of the house. She said for all those cameras you could have put a sign out there that says you are being recorded. I said yeah but we would have missed this. But I am done with cameras. ;)

You gotta round up to an even number. Don't want to be an odd-ball :lmao:

Plus an even number of cameras just fit on the screen better aesthetically LOL.

Justification to the boss LOL

Damn, I'm so jealous and have a long way to go. I have three 5442 3.6MM's up and two 49225's bench tested - waiting to go up, and a Color4K-X on the way from Andy.
My install has been on hold for new siding/soffits after a land hurricane tore through my state over a year ago.
I donated my other cams (that were still in the boxes) to my brother to replace his old $80 BNC system that we took down when re-siding and re-roofing his house (I'm still waiting on my siding to come in from sitting on the Pacific).
LOTs of nice cams and lots of hard earned cash spent. :banghead: And I gave him my NVR and bought him two 49225's to compliment his set-up for Christmas (9 cams total).
So yeah, I have a lot more spending to do with Andy in the upcoming year. LOL

I am always looking for cameras as a gift :lmao:

This post just prove Black Friday needs to be banned as it gives 4 more tools to the oppressor to use on the oppressed people! :blankstare:

But also noticed how they all think they are so smart. But the smart ass didn't even look around for cameras.
I do not think they have any concern about being recorded. As someone else had said, they have probably been arrested several times and are still doing whatever it is they are doing.

Of course, each of us have their own opinion of what is going on here. But in reality, the cameras did not catch anything that was illegal, in and of itself. The exchange of money is not illegal. Giving a ride to someone is not illegal. I am not sure if I actually observed an exchange of money. It appears that once the cam had the guy in the frame, he was already holding the cash.

Unless the police rolled up and started asking questions, we really have only opinions on what was going on. But I think that what @fergenheimer stated is probably pretty close to what was going on.

I have to agree Samplenhold. Proving illegality may be difficult even if there.

They can probably arrest and identify the person who may have been smuggled and if he has entered illegally, imprison / deport him. As for the rest, nothing concrete. Without a confession or a series of these events recorded erasing any doubt as to the activity, a guy counting money with a family reunion in the background.

Sorry, but that no longer happens in the USA. Not with the present administration in power.
