I just recently got a 7608 NVR and three 4MP WDR cameras from Nelly's. I’m getting either white-out/black-out flash for a second or two with then a slow fade-in to normal exposure. It’s a white-out flash during day or a black-out flash at night. It seems to be triggered when there is change in brightness of the scene; either sun comes out from behind a cloud, or an outside light turns on or car drives by. Each time it happens, it triggers an alert. I haven't changed any of the image settings from the out-of-the-box, as I'm not sure what would make a difference. It seems like the iris or iso sensitivity can't react fast enough and sensor gets overwelmed and overcompensates. And it doesn't have to be a dramatic change. an overhead sun slowly coming out from behind a cloud can trigger it. It just doesn't seem right. Beyond it triggering false motion alerts, the loss of video for seconds right when something may be happening is not good. Looks like I have firmware that is latest listed on Nelly's website. I've asked for their advise, but haven't gotten anything back yet. Anyone have any ideas what to try adjusting?
