I made the mistake of choosing cams with a too wide angle (mostly 4mm, I think) which as of now are only good for the back to see where our dog is. I am in the process of adding better cams with better sensitivity and narrower angle which is why I like the varifocal 5224. So would a 6mm 5449 pointing about 20 feet away from about 9-10' high be ok?

Can we get some more info on the correct procedure to complete a "Splicing Calibration" from the camera interface? Is it expecting a certain image in its FOV to perform the calibration? Thanks,

I put this on my 5449 in the hopes it would help with the daytime blur but it hasn't. Is there something newer out there to help this? When compared with a 5442 I had in the same spot, it's noticeably less sharp. Like, the sharpness is on the same level as a 5231.

Also, I should've taken note that 3.6 on the 5449 is slightly more narrow then 3.6 on a 5442. Might have to swap it out for a 2.8 variant if it exists. That one's on me.

Yeah 5449 was the first cam I ordered. I will agree about the fov. I have it mounted about 7-8 ft above my driveway ...it needs to be mounted higher. I ordered another 5442 to replace it and may try it elsewhere

Google translate on your phone, point it at your pc screen.
Cell A33 says 'dual camera aurora series' (??)
and the green stamp in the middle says 'about to stop'

But the model numbers don't seem to match? That screenshot has 4000 series parts whereas andy is selling a T5449H.

Dual camera aurora series = D2
Maybe the price is too high.
The sales in the Chinese market were not good, so they stopped selling.
Foreign markets are not affected.

how much is this camera? Is it still for sale? where to buy?

Will there be a 8MP version in near future? Or is there something compareable from other companies?

I mean the IR + FullColor is a nice combination.
