I have no experience with the one you linked but the Hikvision cube cameras are actual real security cameras. Not bottom level junk from China. Mid-level stuff from China.
Sounds like I may have to try one out. You think the low light performance will be better than the videos I posted?

I don't think so but I don't have one of the Hik cubes (yet) to compare. I ran across a sale on Amazon last week and ordered one for myself though. I have a new puppy and want more indoor coverage. Probably should've ordered 2 or 3 at the price ($60). I don't have Amazon.com Prime shipping so I chose the free slow version. Should be in my hands sometime around the weekend though.

The cam you linked to looks like it has good reviews, so if you're happy with it and it is reliable long term then you have a good puppy/baby cam. A lot of the cheap Chinese cams use the IMX322 sensor which is actually very good. The problems with them are usually unreliability related. They'll either just plain die, or the video streams won't be reliable even when wired (not obvious sometimes unless you spend a lot of time reviewing footage), or you can't run the exposure on anything but auto, or whatever.

Did you buy the Annke Clone version? They had them on sale for $49.99 on their web page 1080P HD High Definition Video Resolution IP Camera Online Shopping| annkesecurity.com and if you buy 2 you can use discount code "Halloween15" and they are about $46 each after discount.

Return it and get yourself 2 for a much better price. Amazon returns are usually easy.

Except when you order American Amazon from Canada because the Amazon.ca price was higher than even the regular Amazon.com price. I'm reasonably close to the border so I get things shipped to my personal cross-border mailbox occasionally.

tinyCam Monitor PRO does not support talking for ONVIF profile.
However the app does support talking for Hikvision cameras. Just select vendor Hikvision.
Thanks, this works now.

In fact, we'll be transitioning ACT (AndyCam Technology) to ACICS (AndyCam In-Cage Solution). We are considering utilizing a Dahua IPC-HDBW4231F-AS or IPC-HDB4231C-AS to accomplish this. Here we have a ACICS temporary proof of concept solution utilizing a Vivotek FD8136 POS (Piece of Shit)...

Hey thanks for this Annke heads up! I just ordered two (2) units for $92.48 (total) including the Halloween15 discount and free shipping. You can't beat that deal with a sticQ. The fact that that the WiFi on these Hikvision cameras may actually work (or so I've read) I just may deploy the Dahua IPC-HDBW4231F-AS elsewhere and use the 2 Annke/Hik uints for my AndyCam iCAT® (In-Cage Advanced Technology) solution. Yes sir! salute3.gif

Looks like you ordered just in time. Price is back up to $67.10 on Annke webpage. I will be receiving mine today. Not sure where you are located but it took 7 days after I placed the ordered to get them from California to Ohio.

Nope, still 49 99 on Annkes site.
They must have recently changed it back. I checked this morning and it was $67.10. Looks like the discount code Halloween15 still works if you buy two. Just got mine yesterday so hopefully find some time this weekend to get them up and running.

Turn on the alarm function, hopefully it works like the hikvision
You will be pleasantly surprised
I will definitely test the alarm function. Planning on using my unsuspecting wife as my test subject. Will let you know how it goes and keep you posted on the subsequent divorce proceedings :lmao:
