How are you able to make such an assurance? How many people have you had reproduce this fix?I can assure you it's the steps you followed that makes it work.
if this was happening for 6 months its not a bi issue but rather an intel driver issue...install the correct driver without the memory leak.I still have this same issue. BlueIris starts with 7-8% cpu and 800mb of memory usage, which has been typical with my current setup for the last 6 months or so. After a day or so the cpu usage climbs up to 40% and ram usage goes to 1.5gb, and one or more of the cameras starts being displayed with a lag on the screen. Restarting the BlueIris service fixes the issue until it happens again.
I haven't reported this to Ken since my support plan has also expired. I will probably pay and send him an e-mail after. From now on, I will download every full version update in case this happens again, so that I can go back.
I should have been more clear. I meant to say that the computer has been running with the same setup (cameras, settings and hardware) "without any issues" for 6 months. This issue started after I upgraded to 4.6.4.12 and 4.6.5.2 did not fix it. I have been using the same Intel drivers since July.if this was happening for 6 months its not a bi issue but rather an intel driver issue...install the correct driver without the memory leak.
search the forum..there is a link to an ftp site that has the old versionsI should have been more clear. Wanted to wait a day and make sure all was well before I jumped the gun. Followed your instructions to the T and I am finally back down to 8-10% CPU (from 90%) with 20% memory consumption running 10 cams. I don't know why I procrastinated so damn long to do it but I am a happy camper again. Set Win10 to never install updates and drivers. Thank you @techfun and everyone else in this threadWell this one looks like an Intel bug to me. Re-posting my own experience that I posted on the other thread...
Dont use limit decoding...you will have motion detection issues...Having 88%+ memory usage in a dedicated Zotac i7-4770T 8.00GB RAM 500GB HD miniPC Win7-64bit running latest BI v4.6.5.3 when window is maximized. When minimized goes down to 13% which is what it had been running forever. I was running v4.4 which I had not updated for a long time until Push Notifications stopped happening 2 weeks ago, then updated to v4.6.5.2 which started having this memory issue. Updated today & still the same problem
I have integrated Intel 4600 HD Graphics Video with driver version 10.18.10.3308 which I have never updated since doing a fresh install about 2 years ago.
My BI support has run out. I have checked "limit recording unless required" box for all my ip cameras.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm running win10 but followed techfuns direction and with those two combos of driver and bi version, I'm sitting back at 8%. Of course my issue was automatic updates but for you may be worth giving it a shot with 4664integrated Intel 4600 HD Graphics Video with driver version 10.18.10.3308
