Hello,

I need to get some cameras for Blue Iris V4
I have already very old cameras from Sricam and Wanscam working well but new generations doesn't seem to work well

So I want to add new cameras with an affordable price (I can't pay on Amazon) So Ebay or direct Paypal

My needs :
Wifi + PTZ + Audio + can be mounted on the wall + with 100% compatibility of all functions with Blue Iris Software.
Indoor (If outdoor with these functions no problem)

I searched about reolink but I read on this forum that they don't work on Blue Iris

Any help please ?
Thank you a lot

Look on Amazon they have a large number of junk wifi cameras.

Please read the cliff notes in the wiki. The wiki is in the blue bar at the top of the page.

Do not use wifi cameras. They overload your home network, they are easily shut down, blocked.

Hello SouthernYankee
Thank you
We just rent a new local and we are not allowed to make works on walls except fixing cameras
So I don't have really choice except using WIFI
Let's say it would be better than nothing
That's why I don't want to spend on very expensive cameras
Maybe we move local after some time

This site has loads of information. I had to read the wiki multiple times and I still refer back. Suggest you review. andy is empiretecandy. Andy sells Dahua. Suggest you reach out with requirements and he is very responsive. Just bought a 13 cam setup from him. But also the blue iris software website has a Compatibility list if you want a starting point to see other brands.

- I can't find that in the wiki maybe I should search more there
- Is Andy : EMPIRETECANDY ?
I read he sells Dahua which work fine on Blue Iris
I'm right ?

Thank you to help me as I'm really lost with all these informations :)
Wiki is in the top blue bar and also wherever the word is written in a post

Thank you a lot
But just I didn't find where to make a non wifi camera as a wifi :)
That's actually not in the wiki. You would need to purchase an access point, connect it to your network (wirelessly), then wire the camera to the access point.

I have a few installs where I used a tplink cpe210 in client mode where customer didn't want to bury cable across the property to garage, etc. $40 and being solid enterprise grade is a home run.

So what do you advice ?

I have this camera installed and it has worked flawlessly from day one with BI (3 to 4). I can't speak to the wireless performance as I have it wired. The link is to the Amazon page ($100.00) but you could search for it on E-Bay.
Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-IW 3MP Indoor IR Wifi Cube Camera 2.8mm

Thank you a lot @molimelight
On Ebay I found DS-2CD2442FWD-IW which is cheaper
Hikvision 4MP Wifi IP Camera DS-2CD2442FWD-IW 4mm Two-way Audio Built-in Micro | eBay

Are they the same do you think?

Can it be fixed on the wall or ceiling please?
