The zeros are the standard provision for the cheaper Watchman Plan. This is unfortunate, but these settings were usually all over the place anyway. To get the color, make, model, type, etc., would require the more expensive plan.

Aha, Got Cha Thank you @DLONG2 Once again with your help I got mine working and even was able to put a guide I think this date thing is almost worked out now with your help.. I might now add the viewer to the guide I put together.. for people to try..

Only thing was the Connection Link for SQL but that should remain the same I think if they do not change any names of the database and follow the guide.. But thank you so much @DLONG2 for all your help and thank you for such a wonderful program this is such a enterprise level tool

Yes, my one camera came with a $39.00 invoice on Friday. I had to send them an email late yesterday asking them to explain or itemize how a $5/month plan with one camera costs $39.00. Their website said they would respond within 24 hours. When I hear back I'll post the reply.

I also received payment requests on the card I set up for OpenALPR. There were 2 so far, both were declined because a put a monthly limit of $10 on that card. I use a service called Privacy for monthly subscriptions like this in case things like this happen. I also sent an email asking for clarification.

Well dang, @tech101 gets me feeling comfortable about doing this, and now extra charges appearing on credit cards:(

Are you running OpenALPR with still image analysis or the video option to retrieve plates?

@Fubduck - so I am confused a little LOL (well maybe a lot). Their website shows the pic I posted that says it is installed locally and analyzes video, yet when you go to another section, it says it is cloud based and off of pictures?

Do we have an option or is it only cloud based and pictures only?

Dear OpenALPR User:
We have identified that your OpenALPR Watchman Home service has been overcharged at a rate of $39 instead of $5 per camera.

We apologize for this inconvenience and have issued a refund for the incorrect charges.

We believe the issue is related to older versions of the OpenALPR agent. We have fixed the issue, however, it may result in issues with older versions of the software. Please upgrade your agent as soon as possible to the latest version. The upgrade process is fast and will also provide you with better speed and accuracy.

12 minutes after I got the email about the older agent, mine stopped sending data. In Configuration > Agents there was this warning message "Warning: Home plan requires Agents version 2.7.102 and above."

I upgraded to 2.7.102 and everything failed. I removed and reinstalled OpenAPLR Agent and now I can't get the agent to start. I can add cameras and see them when I press the test button, both from the Agent and online in Configuration > Agents.

If I remove my cameras OpenALPR Agent starts.

Ok I found out what was causing the agent to fail to start. I enabled HW acceleration but forgot to place the files. Once I got the latest version of the acceleration files downloaded and placed the agent restarted without issue. So I am back up and running and downloading data. When I uninstalled the older version I lost all of my images which is a bummer, I had 8 months worth.

Sounds like when they were informed of this over charge issue, they pushed out a forced update?
