So you do the calculations and you get recommendations from users and the forums, and you see the SYSTEM fail right before your eyes, and realize, a built in graphic chip just doesn't cut it at all, yet you have a brand new PC running BI and the box has none to little room for expansion /Dell OpticPlex 7060. It cannot even handle 2000x1400 pixels at 14fps rate with 16 cameras. I have disabled a few just to see if it helps.

So, how important is it to get the right driver for this video chip? And while I have had numerous suggestions from top guys, which I greatly appreciate, HOW is it that DELL or MS have not made this fix part of their update, and How is it that I as an ex-IT A+ cert, with 20 years experience am avoiding the steps or tests given to upload the recommended driver , as I cant even find it. I was provided links with more links to multiple options. How is it that we dont have this "correct" driver for the CPU graphics chip available for direct download?

Maybe I missed it? Maybe it was just not provided? or available?

This magic driver patch...I wonder if it is the issue, OR this chip is just not enough.

The latest driver works well. If you are using the dell installed oem windows, that is your mistake, it will not automatically install the latest intel driver. While there are workarounds, the most important thing to do is install a clean version of windows using the MS media creation tool.

Stating the dell model does not tell us what processor it has. How do you know your crashes are related to the graphics?

Fenderman, I have to say , I am super appreciative of you and your presence and feedback to the posts, and mine, as I read them and I always see you being there for folks.

Clean, Win 10 Pro version is 10.0.18363 build 18363. It wont update to a newer driver fromDevice Manager.
i7-8700 cpu UHD 630 1gb adapter ram
16gb ram*
GDKMD64.sys 26.20.100.7262
So...
I tried to go to Intel, downloaded the DSA driver install assistant...FAILED.
Then I tried running the EXE file, FAILED
Then tried the ZIP file and manual install from Device Manager FAILED
How many work arounds do I need to fail before there are simple steps for someone to follow and get the driver to take?
I am looking for more info on this in the older threads. Hope I find the light!

To determine if your problem is the video driver and Blue Iris, Turn off BI all hardware acceleration and see if it works. If it crashes than it is NOT the video

On main Settings/Info options....
HW accelerated decode is already set at "No".
Before it crashes some or most of the cameras have delay in the preview, some major time delay.

There are no workarounds needed. You are doing something incorrectly. How did you install windows on this machine. Using dell media or MS medica creation tool? also if you have 20gb of memory, then you are not using dual channel which is very helpful in reducing cpu usage. Install your memory in a dual channel configuration even if it means less total memory.

There are two places the hardware acceleration is set , on the system so it is set as default. And on the cameras which can override the system default.

If there is no hardware acceleration, it is not a driver problem.

What errors are in the system event log ?

I am not sure what I could be doing incorrectly, but when I got the PC, the tech that sold it to me said he wiped the OS and put clean win10 Pro on it. SO if you know how I can get a clean Win10Pro dvd or stream to format and reinstall the OS I will.

I also checked each camera 1 by 1 in the Record Config option and HW Accel is "No" on all.

MS Media creation tool as noted in the prior posts

So got all ready for this install to use a USB drive and the Media Creation tool errors out!
Wow....I must be the lucky one :)
A 32gb formatted USB stick, progress gets to Creating Win10Media ....There was a problem running this tool...
Were not sure what happened, but were unable to run this tool on your PC. If you continue experiencing problems reference the error code when contacting customer support. Error Code 0x80042401 - 0xA001B
I'm gonna give it another shot after a reboot.

I did the export of the reg file. I also deactivated it. Hope that is enough, as next...this is what happens...
ODDLY enough, as I am installing this fresh Win10, I get to the point that is shows the drives, and Windows says it cannot find a partition to copy to. So then I format the drive as it has the option to do so, thinking this is the issue Win cant find or install.... But nope! after format, it still cannot install.

In the BIOS, and I see that SATA operation is set to Itel Rapid Restore Tech RAID instead of AHCI. It says if I select AHCI it may not boot and require a reinstall...Which point I already am at. And yes, my memory is setup for DUAL channel mem mode.

I tried the to Repair options, but looks like I cannot find a restore point, IF I had made one for it, which I may have had it write to the second drive , OR not even have one, as it looks like. SO this box so far is SOL...

The main SSD as primary boot drive is on PCI Slot3_M.2.
The Dell Bios is rather odd and only shows a line by line entry to the drives recognized when I am in the Boot Sequence section.
I so far can only see it by selecting the Add Boot Option. This gives a browse option for File Name.

Above that it has a File System list, which I don't recognize.
PciRoot(oxo)/pci...etc address of the PCI
gives 3 such addresses.
Then a EFI boot selection comes up with File System FS0, FS1, FS2.
FS0 has DIR: Sys Vol Inf, boot, efi, sources, support
This must be the USB stick with the EFI formatted and loaded Win10 OS.
FS1 has System Vol inf
FS2 has EFI
System Vol Inf

SATA0 has 2TB storage drive for the BIris video files. SATA2 is a DVDRW, SATA3 and4 are Empty, so the M2 PCIe SSD-0 is the 256GB boot drive. then it has a LOM MAC address

hmmm, well, which is the USB drive? the Bios is not telling me..OR that these all are the USB stick, as this is the EFI Boot Selection window.

So Windows had me delete all partitions and create a new primary formated one, and now installing. FFS!! A $450 Hik NVR for 32-64 cameras may have been worth it(regardless of how much I appreciate and love BIris)! I did say May...lol

Of course you need to delete the partitions. That is common sense. I suggest you try the hik nvr. They are plug and play and NEVER have any issues. I dont think there is a single post about an issue with a hik nvr. They are that good.

lol.....Its been a while since I have had to install on new drive. I have 9 systems, and the newest one is this. I am sure HIK vision has plenty issues including holes,...

ANYWAY....I did a fresh install, fresh BI download and install, as soon as I started it up with the reg file imported to see the cameras...BAM 100% off the bat cpu load (with "no" real activity to be detected). So since a few weeks back SOMETHING changed...I did read here someplace to use H265, and had changed a few of the cameras to use 265 compression, but...thats about all I can remember changing. Beofre this I was dealing with 70% CPU load

over 5 hours to get this up and running, and not having a improvement really sucks.

Looking at each camera RECORD setting, I have BI DVR selected with Use FLAC compression. Video compression is Direct to disc
Then I have

Running in demo mode would cause this
