I don't support property destruction, whether it be by largely white, largely armed MAGA-emblazoned mobs or BLM or any other group.

I will say with confidence that if a mob of black people, armed or not, tried to storm the Capitol under any circumstances, we would have a bodycount in the dozens or hundreds by now.

These people are there explicitly for the purposes of insurrection, and were egged on by their president who then sat back and did nothing other than a few milquetoast tweets, not even asking them to leave. He fomented this and if he has not resigned by nightfall I hope he is removed, and anyone that continues to support him for example by continuing with the electoral objections should face a recall vote from their constituents.

In any event, I'm confident this event just splintered the Republican party for the foreseeable future.

How does it compare to the peaceful protests that had buildings burning?

Property damage should be punished both civilly and criminally.
Insurrection should be punished under the relevant statutes in addition to the charges that should be brought for the property damage, costs to restore control, etc.

Right on point. I’m just as aggravated by this whole election and the failures of dismissing case after case with evidence. However, there is a right way and a wrong way to make your point, and this is not the right way. You don’t stoop to the level of others and damage property, personal or government. You don’t act like the mess that occurred over the summer. You go to the polls and replace all the RINOs and the spineless group with strong willed level headed candidates to represent your views.

Almost every perceived injustice, shooting, etc against blacks recently has been debunked (as the left would say). If you attack a police officer, especially with a weapon, you run the risk of being shot. They are not heroes. Sorry. They are violent criminals. I'd say that of any race. Attack a LEO and you get to be a participant in the room temperature challenge.

Race is only brought up when one is losing an argument or has no valid point to argue.
