Its sad to say, but I believe we may be more divided than we were in 1861.
I’m at the point of doing the same. However before I leave the forum, I do have a question. What is the possibility that some anarchists or left wing group infiltrated the protest and were the ones doing the damage to try and make the true supporters look bad? I mean, I’m sure it may be far fetched, but you have to wonder if it is a play in the dems handbook.
Yeah when I first turned on the TV, first thing I did was mute the tv, I ignored the Ticker Tape on the bottom, just sat back and watched with the thought it was already predicted it was going to be a Wild Day, I just did not know what was going to make it Wild...TVs are off now, seen enough, I pray no one gets seriously hurt or dies. It is sad it had to come down to this...But I think we all feel their anger...
This is the natural progression of what happens when elected officials ignore the will of the people, I said before the American people are NOT putting up with this blatant disregard.

Very possible, it happens all the time now a days...Normally the youth are the ones who go out of control though...

What I think is being missed is that this indicates the level of contempt many ten of millions, and maybe even hundreds of millions, have for what passes itself off as Congress today. They are so far removed from what life is actually like for their "constituents" that they haven't got a clue. I am not supporting property damage, but given the level of frustration it is understandable. If I'm not mistaken, I'm sure I've heard multiple factions of the Marxist/Socialist/Leftist/Progressive/Douchbag/Democrats call for burning down the Government over the last couple of years. I guess if they do it, it's OK but no fires were set in the Capitol building so maybe that's what makes it so bad.

I just heard some democrat on TV calling this a violent coup attempt. Probably one of the same ones who called burning the cities a peaceful protest.
