    Andy, I have a few IP8M-2439EW Amcrest cams outside now. They are OK but in two locations I would like to get a bit better low light performance (the two that cover the driveway and outside parking area. Would like to do that without breaking the bank. What would you recommend? Plan on re-purposing the Amcrests to the basement.

    I'm based in Australia and am looking to purchase through your Aliexpress store, I'm looking to get the following T5442TM-AS and T2431TM-AS-S2. Would you be able to recommend a lower budget version of the T2431TM that I will be using in a low access area? Also, would you be able to do a deal as I'll be purchasing 3 cameras?

    Hi Nathan,

    The lower budget than 2431TM, just use the IPC-T2431T-AS, this one is plastic one, work same as the T2431TM-AS.

    I just got burned buying, from Amazon, an IPC-HFW2231T-ZS. The problem is that the 2MP really doesn't cut it in image quality.

    Also the motorized zoom does not function when trying to utilize it in Blue Iris (near as I can tell).

    My question is which of these two models would be a better choice: an IPC-B5842E-ZE or an IPC-T5842T-ZE with regards to image clarity, low-light quality, and overall build/longevity? They are about
    $100 more than what I just paid.

    The 2mp has bit good nighttime pics compare to normal high resolution cameras.
    Those 5842 ones are using 1/1.8cmos and more AI functions than the 2231, 2231 just a normal bullet camera, and work well at low light places.
    There has good review on the forum about the 5842 ones. Work great.

    Dear Andy,

    I am planning to buy several of your IPC-T5442T-ZE cameras. I want to make them less noticeable. Can I use white paint on the black plastic circle, outside of the rectangular camera opening?

    Hi buddy

    The black plastic circle can't paint into white, there has IR light and sensor in it, if you paint the white, camera will not work in the night, so don't paint.

    I've asked @EMPIRETECANDY for an updated firmware as well. But I'm sure he's busy replying too everyone. I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has the latest version for this camera I can try to update. I'm at 2.800.15OG001.0.R build date 2020-10-14. Thanks in advance

    Also, I have an older Swann branded Hikvision NVR - it supports onvif. Would one of the newer IP cams like the Empiretech 4k 8MP likely work with it?

    YES, IF ONVIF Cameras can add to our NVR5216-4ks2, working good.

    a few more questions about this NVR, will motion based events work for the ONVIF cameras? Not sure if this is something you have tested before.

    If possible, you can let me know if line crossing, intrusion, facial/vehicle detection works for onvif cameras through the NVR processing.

    On Amazon the EmpireTech listed IPC-T5541H-AS-PV 2.8mm is now unavailable.
    It's available on AliExpress from Empire Technology (I assume this is also from Andy).

    Will it be available on Amazon soon, or should I order via AliExpress?
    And will you get more stock if you sell the two you have at AliExpress?

    I see that Dahua docs on this camera mention a mobile Android app. Is that the Dahua Camera app in google play from Error Infotec?

    Do you have an install guide for the IPC-T2431T-AS? I bought 6 of these and cannot get them to initialize/recognize in BI5. Are there other steps prior to the BI software that need to be followed?

    You sell your version of the Dahua IPC-T2431T-AS, but on the Dahua site I only see the "-S2" version (IPC-T2431T-AS-S2). What are the differences between the two versions? Thank you very much.

    I just ordered one with the 3.6mm lens. If it works well, I'll order 1 or 2 more. I will be trying it with DW Spectrum since the Dahua software is so buggy.. Thank you.

    Hey Andy! I am looking to buy IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E camera for use of LPR! Only problem is I only have a Mac computer... Is this camera mac compatible? Do you know of any mac compatible Dahua NVRs that would work with this? I also plan on using openALPR license plate software for this setup!

    1. Use your registered email to find back the password, or hard reset button, it's on some models, but most models not have it.
    2. Use serial port flash to default the NVR, but this need some special cables, so have to ask local dahua distributor to help you.

    Do you sell HikVision ColorVu cameras with English firmware?
    Looking to put in an order on a few Dahua cameras from your amazon store, but if I can also get the 4mp ColorVu from your store, that helps me avoid dealing with another seller.

    I was about the pull the trigger on the IPC-T5442T-ZE in black on Amazon, but it says the black PFB203W wall mount won't ship for two months. I'm not in a huge rush, but is that accurate, and if so is there a way to get one sooner? Thanks,
