  • Hi,
I have a IPC-HDW5541H-AS-PV and have an issue.

Everything appears to be working as expected, however, when any IVS rule is triggered, I get no Audio and light alerts.

During playback I can see the rule is triggered, I can reply, I even get mobile notifications - just no audio alert or lights!.

If I play the audio files manually, they are fine and can be heard.

Anyone any idea? I have reset and reloaded firmware.
    Regards,

    Hi Andy,

    2.800.0000000.19R, Build Date:2020-07-09

I've managed to fix it, but it has required a factory reset and a manual reconfiguration. If I import the backup config I get that strange issue.

The auto track is a cool feature. Do you have an idea how far does the camera stay on subject (assuming subject is travelling within line of sight without obstruction).
For example, If it pick a car moving on a straight road, will it keep zooming in to keep the car identifiable?

my placement is front of house and I have line crossing to trigger camera when someone comes on to my property and it will keep tracking them and zoom in where I can identify person and a car that drives into my driveway about 20 foot long will track and zoom in very very close where I can see the person driving the car. Excellent camera about 95 percent accurate with tracking and zooming.
hi eCandy.. i have a new project to replace existing coax cameras inside an arcade (dim lighting) . they currently have 16 cameras. many moons ago i was advised to go with the Dahua re-branded StarLight 2MP Varifocal cameras for low light . however, i see there is now an 8mp variant . (

8MP Starlight Lite Varifocal IP Camera) with are 4k i believe? i would appreciate your opinion on which cameras to go with and i'm open to any other suggestions. they would need to integrate with blue iris, and poe powered. again, low light, high resolution (enough to distinguish facial features) is priority. please pm' if you can help me order something :D tia
    Hi Andy,

I'm interested in the Dahua 5542T-ZE 4mp varifocal turret.
If I understand correctly, the ones you sell on your Amazon and Aliexpress stores are the same Dahua cameras but rebranded, correct?

    Cheers,

Hello Andy. Picked up a IPC-T2831TM-AS from you and I notice it does not give the option for WDR in the settings. Perhaps I need a firmware update? I did a couple searches and did not see IPC-T2831TM-AS and firmware results. Can you provide a link or suggestions please?

    Hello Andy,
I recently discovered my remote camera view for my Qsee NVR is no longer working. I have a QCK 81 NVR. I spoke with someone who said you could help with options, Firmware?, different App?, Dahua NVR?? that allows remote viewing. I am not sure how to fix. Please contact me at Mgpsea@cox.net. I appreciate your help in getting back up for remote viewing.

Does the T5442 have good resolution to identify people, especially at night (in color)?

Color pic is mainly your place has good light, most IR cams will be black and white pics only if the light is poor, and all cams can be color if your place has good light.
    Hi Andy,

I'm looking for a camera to replace a ceiling mounted Dahua HDW4433C-A turret that is mounted inside my home (interior room). This camera is working fine but is too large; wife is not happy. So I am looking for a different ceiling mounted camera that is less obtrusive.

I have a N43AN52 wedge camera I can install, but thought I would ask you if you had anything smaller.

It doesn't need to be a Dahua branded camera, but it should have smart IR and built-in Mic. Its motion event function must be compatible with my Dahua N2116-I NVR. Reasonable low light color performance is desirable, but no need for a starlight sensor model (want to keep costs low).

The ideal camera would be something with the performance/price similar to a IPC-T2431T-AS, but in a smaller size. The goal is to make the ceiling mounted camera less noticeable. Do you have anything in your store that you can recommend?

    Hello Andy,
I am looking to see if you have the Dahua OEM IPC-EBW81230 12MP Panoramic Network IR Fisheye Camera? I found the junction box for mounting it [EmpireTech PFA130-E White Water-Proof Junction Box Bracket] on Amazon but did not find the camera under your Amazon store.
    Thank you,

    Thanks

Hi Andy, I purchased few IPC-HDW5231R-ZE camera last year from you. I will appreciate if you could share the link for the latest firmware. I checked the forum as well but I believe that the firmware files were removed.

    Hi Andy,

Looking to pickup a Dahua PTZ. Im thinking about one of these SD49425XB-HNR models. I think the US version is 49425XBNR. I plan on putting it on my Dahua NVR5216-16P-4KS2 I got from you about 1.5yrs ago. I will use a 802.3at Power Injector since the NVR wont be able to power it. Let me know what you can get and cost to me. Thanks
    Hey Andy,

    很高兴认识你, 我非常喜歡在台灣和中國大陸生活的25年

I need TWO things for my clients:
    A. add more cameras to their 4K 8MP NVR systems
    B. a new BRAND of NVR with camera packages

    A. For two existing clients I've already installed the Lorex NVR 4K 8MP Systems. Each needs more cameras for their setups. I'm looking for ten (10) more similar OR BETTER cameras. (Which is why I created the category 'b')
(bought at Costco - here's the link to a similar system www.bit.ly/2JAgnnh). Both systems have cameras which are: 4K, 8MP, Wide-angle 111°, High Dynamic Range (HDR), Color Night Vision, Color IR infrared, IP67)

    B. For NEW CLIENTS, I've read a lot about HIKvision and DaHua ... would love to know about 8+MP NVR systems which you recommend

    Looking forward to your reply

    I'm in Maine, USA
