I found 2 links that worked with my old Lorex NVR based system using the new Edge browser. I was able to login to NVR, scale window sizes, etc. as it was when IE was supported. I was able to load the Lorex webplugin and then the Windows compatibility box opened, chose defaults, rebooted and...

If easy to acess, try switching ports on the camera with another just to see if problem follows camera.

Make sure that the video is set to "auto connect". I had same problem when I changed video connection setting before allowing "auto connect". took about 3 minutes and 2 reboots (on both ends-NVR, monitor).

If I read the others correctly, use a dedicated device. Be it NVR, PC or PC with secondary software. Video takes a lot of muscle especially the 4K, playback, recording , etc.

I personally have only 2 cameras attached to my NVR and they are both Acusence Hik cameras so I can not help you here. Maybe others will chime in with their experiences. I did try one of my Lorex cameras and it did attach via Onvif, could view but absolutely nothing else, not even motion detection.
