Do you know which seller it was please? I'm guessing maybe the jtwholesaler guy.

Securcity are the ones who sent the wrong camera without letting me know in advance even though they were told by their supplier ADI. They were very good at arranging for it to be collected so I can't fault their aftersales, just a shame they didn't think to ask if I wanted the 5Mp before sending it and wasting time and money.

I messaged CCTV Global London to see what they say - I see the seller with the 4mm in but I'm after a 2.8 to keep the coverage of the existing camera so will see what they come back with.

I just got a 2385. Been really impressed with its performance both night and day. I purchased mine from here

Great. Others I saw selling for $170 but with DHL or fedex shipping.

The link works, but it looks like it might be formatted in a way where if someone buys the product thats linked to, someone else gets a commission for that (by having shared the link).

Regular Ali links shared on the forum here are long and kind of ugly. They look like this:

If you try going to s.click.aliexpress.com without the code on the end of the link, it comes back with a response that mentions "affiliateclick", which makes it sound like it is an affiliate code link. So who knows...

I don't personally care, but a lot of forums don't let members post links that contain affiliate codes, at least not without disclosing that someone may earn a commission by using them.

That camera isn't anything out of the ordinary for low light vision (going by the specs.) I don't know why it was even mentioned in an Ultra Low Light thread?

A proper DS-CD2335FWD-I has now landed and I'll install it shortly (rain permitting!)

I used jtwholesaler from eBay - dropped him a message and he was able to easily source a 2.8mm version of the camera and even though I ordered at almost 4pm it arrived 10am today - 18 hours later!

I did notice some other UK distributors of Hikvision stuff don't offer the 3Mp so I'm not sure what's going on.

I just received my 2385 and I have no idea how to remove the white trim piece that usually covers the mounting screws . Is there a new walking feature for this trim or is it still counterclockwise ? Don't want to damage the new cam.

It's counterclockwise on the 2335 so I'd assume the 2385 is the same - it was tight the first time (like some other things!)

The design of the 2335 is miles better than the likes of the 2332/2342 etc. So easy to come off and put back on now especially if you were fixing the turret to a flush surface.
