Fix the law, enforce the law. Amazing how many self inflicted problems we create for ourselves. What we are seeing are "man made disasters". There is no reason for them to happen. They are easy to fix and deal with but we keep voting in the worst people as our overlords. That in itself is yet another man made disaster.

I saw a video of some vegans and farmers arguing about killing cattle for food and leather. One of the points was about how much energy is required for ranching. The rancher/farmer asked about the belt the vegan was wearing and she said it was 'vegan leather'. Which seemed strange to me that she was proud of her belt that was made of vegan leather.

I wonder how many vegans it takes to make a belt? Or a shoe? And what do they do with the meat after? This can't be legal?
