Just a thought but I wonder if you could use the Reolink chime itself to directly trigger a relay (need to match voltages) for your old door chime. I’m sure it can be done it’s just whether that’s the most efficient way to do it. Hopefully someone smarter than I can comment on the best way to do...

Not dumb at all, had the same question just a few weeks ago. Short answer is yes, I just added 2 of them to my own system and they work great. You need to use the Reolink configuration tool to set them up then go into BI and adopt them as a camera.

This may be a dumb question, but... Can the Reolink POE doorbell be added as a camera into BlueIris? I don't so much care about communication as much as I care about 1) Has a doorbell button that rings existing chime; and, 2) Records video, preferably to BlueIris with the other cameras.

I recall reading, at some point, that they actually screw the bead of the tire to the rim. Otherwise the rim (not the tire) would just spin under heavy acceleration

Went to the drag strip tonight with my Reolink and got a great image of a tire at full acceleration ;)

For the ridiculously low price of $80 USD, I'd toss it in the garbage and buy the Reolink POE doorbell camera instead.

so far loving my reolink's... have had a few issues with memory cards going unformatted thus the point of going to a recorded solution.... albeit some cameras have 512gb memory to which they say max supported is 256... but the ones that had issues were 256... also had 1 camera totally die on...

Reolink is not a camera upgrade and many posts here over the years of showing Reolink not working well in BI. Reolink works best in its own platform, so it will work best with a Reolink NVR. However, that doesn't fix the perform poorly at night issue that Reolinks are known for.

Hi @jeremybme many of the older Q-see kits were Dahua OEM .. So, you could get a PC and run Blue Iris or the Dahua VMS product they have out now, and just upgrade the cameras that died with newer Dahua OEM cameras. ( remember a drop of di-electric get in the RJ45 boot )

Stay away from reolink unless all you care about is what time it happened. It's performance at night is poor. Most would not recommend a box kit. They shove all fixed focal length cameras in them and usually on less than ideal MP/sensor ratios. We would recommend Dahua OEM from trusted...

The fact that you can still hit the webGUI says it's not a network issue....any IP's change? Maybe just a delete/re-add cam to BI will do it.
