Sending alert from BI on PC to BI mobile app clobbered zerotier remote access
Your ZT issue is unrelated to the mobile app issue...if the app works locally there is something else going on....test local first... There is an issue with the android app, where it responding really slow unless you clear the app data but the ios app is completely different..- fenderman

I have never had a poe switch die on me...various brands cheap trendnet and tp-link to a bit more expensive netgear, zyxel, ubiquiti....all of these are fanless except the ubiquiti... Like every piece of electronics some die before others naturally and some die when exposed to external factors...- fenderman

CPU or GPU for CPAI?
In Blue Iris Uncheck the box that forces the main stream for CPAI... Make sure you have the medium model selectee nothing higher... Make sure you're using YOLO V5.net and for even better performance use the IPCAM general model.. Enable GPU -

hdd is using 5w or so..it will spin up constantly as the ramdisk offloads data, it will likely never get a chance to spins down... New is always overflowing...regardless of size, its always hitting the 2gig limit and moving...if you set your clip sizes large it may wait to move at the end of a...- fenderman

The hdd would always keep spinning because the new would keep filling and have to overflow to the hdd... Too much effort to save a few watts...if your new machine is efficient its pulling maybe 15-20w at near idle anyway without the drive... Also your ramdisk will lose all the data upon power...- fenderman

45w is a high number at idle. I dont have an 11th gen but I will test as 12th gen i5 and a 10th gen i5 when i get the chance...i bet its a combo of a large oversized power supply and and gaming parts that is causing your high numbers...these things should idle at 10-20w with just the ssd. That... -
