Dahua vto2111d-wp not unlocking and freezing

Yes - could be. For better understanding pls. draw a wiring diagram with all your components (VTO,PS,doorlock, cable length,...). This will help you in the future anyway.

Dahua vto2111d-wp not unlocking and freezing

I suggest to verify the wiring and try another power supply. Such "freezings" are mostly related to either a bad/too weak power supply and/or induction on the wires.

    Dahua Intercom accent.

With some (very) old firmware version <v4 it was possible to install your own recorded mp3 files with a hack. I still run that on my VTO2000A in my house. Since ~2018 there is no chance for that anymore.

How do I insert SD Card into internal Monitor - dhi-vth1550ch-s

yes, off course. If you don't "trust" the slot from outside, just remove the back cover (6 screws) and place it directly in the slot soldered on the pbc.

Dahua VTO6221E-P can't connect to freePBX asterisk server.

Forget VDPconfig - this is mainly for upgrade - use the webif. Set Asterisk as server, deactivate SIP server on VTO. I guess you problem is simply the IP of the server: Shouldn't is be 192.168.2.111 just like in MicroSIP?

How do I insert SD Card into internal Monitor - dhi-vth1550ch-s

MicroSD card should fit in here (see pic). If it is physically installed but does not show up in the menu, it's a software/firmware issue. What firmware version are you running on the VTH?

Dahua VTO6221E-P can't connect to freePBX asterisk server.

I use my dahua VDP stuff successfully with chan_sip on asterisk, not FreePBX with pjsip. But that should work imho. I'm convinced that there is a trace option (SIP trace) in FreePBX too. Turn it on, reboot VTO (so that we have the sip registration in the trace) and then press the button of the...

Dahua VTO2111D-WP "1st gen" FIRMWARE upgrade

This might be the case for many devices and I agree - but in case of VTO/VTH I always suggest to upgrade to latest FW. There were tons of bugs and most of them have been fixed with updates. In fact it is almost impossible to really brick a dahua device with a update - if you have at least some...

Dahua VTO2111D-WP "1st gen" FIRMWARE upgrade

Latest base FW is General_VTO2111D_Eng_P_16M_SIP_V4.300.0000000.7.R.20200311, but english only. I checked all my sources, could not get a western language pack for it. Try to contact your local dahua support (BRA or US) and kindly ask them for it. Should be called something like...

Dahua VTO doorbell call to computed

Too less information (by far) to analyze this problem. If you consider "playing" with SIP and different devices, there is no other option but asterisk. Read some stuff to "understand" how the SIP protocol works in general will get you on the right track. Setup asterisk, register your SIP...

    door lock problem

On VTO it should be in webif just under der Softwareversion info in field "MCU Version Info". On the VTH in settings / SW-Version. Anyhow, I suggest to reset your VTH and configure your VTO again according to the manual. I'm pretty convinced that this will solve it.

    door lock problem

What FW and MCU versions are used on the devices? Can you unlock the door with via browser (DAHUA HTTP API): http://xxxxx/cgi-bin/accessControl.cgi?action=openDoor&channel=1&UserID=101&Type=Remote If yes, then you might have a wrong passwort configured in your VTH.

Dahua VTO doorbell call to computed

The REGISTER (number 9901#0) and the 401 Unauthorized (number 9999) do not belong together. Actually this is a basic SIP issue and has not a lot to do with dahua VTO. If you want someone to help you, pls. open a new thread, post complete setup (with IP scheme) and add a wireshark trace.

Dahua VTO doorbell call to computed

Well... I was running asterisk at home for my telephone stuff before I got involved into the IP doorbell story. Actually that's exactly why I chose dahua (SIP connectivity). Asterisk gives you tons of options - your doorbell / wall terminals will act like standard SIP (video) phones. You can set...

    Password back? Hikvision doorbell

It was back in jan/feb.'20 - I thought chineese new year was causing this delays so I contacted Hik NED. There I got a reply within 2-3 days which helped as far as i remember. Anyhow - I hate relying on someone when it's about resetting devices. Would buy Hik again if they get rid of this sh**...

    Password back? Hikvision doorbell

Afaik NO. You have to get through Hikvisions pw reset procedure. Took me weeks to succeed, but got it finally.

Dahua VTO doorbell call to computed

@dvbit What other parameters do you mean exactly? Most of them are either self describing or clearly explained in the manual or here. SIP server must be disabled on the VTO if you use an external one (like asterisk).

    Dahua config backup encrypted?

Backup's created via webif are encrypted. This crypting mechanism is not yet cracked, at least not public (but I know of someone who has the knowledge of doing it...). Only if you know how this crypting mechanism works, you might be able to create backup's manually that can be restored again...

"Environment Error" on DAHUA VTH2421FB-P during config with VTO2111D-WP

See, this is the problem. This has absolutely nothing to do with dahua, VTO,etc. It's a simple windows / networking understanding issue and should not be treated here in this forum. Read this (slightly outdated) site for some basic knowledge on ip addresses and then you'll see that everything...

"Environment Error" on DAHUA VTH2421FB-P during config with VTO2111D-WP

You did not answer my first and in this case most important question: Is your PC in this network (192.168.1.x)? Your PC has to have a IP adress in the 192.168.1.x range! If ping doesn't work, you do not have to try anything else.

"Environment Error" on DAHUA VTH2421FB-P during config with VTO2111D-WP

Is your PC in this network (192.168.1.x)? Can you ping the VTO? Did you try clearing you browser cache? Did you try another browser? I also suggest to upgrade the VTO to latest version (V4.500.0000000.8.R.210203). If all that does not help, pls. post a pic of your browsers answer when trying to...

No. But you can backup the image from the chip first, so you can revert it if anything does not work after the upgrade.

Looking for a video doorbell that complies with this list:

You did'nt get me wright: VTO+VTH is about 200$, doorstation (VTO) only arround 100. So imho pretty cheap for what you get. Out of the box RTSP, BlueIris, ONVIF, custom ringtones,... and decent quality. It does not work with digital assistants out of the box afaik. This is, where a linux...
