Looking for reviews of the A180 cameras

Hi, They seemed interesting when I looked at them, however seemed better on the budget and image quality to get 3-4 separate starlight cameras. Still I would like to see a review, as well as see a seamless video capture from one of these. Perhaps these would be great for placing by goal...

Looking for reviews of the A180 cameras

...reviews. Also wondering if there would be enough benefit to go with a 4 x 2mp v.s the 3 x 2mp version given I'm sure a decent price jump. Here are the models I'm looking at below. ...three if you count the existing Kuna camera.) I know I'll need at least two cameras in zone 2 (or a panoramic camera like the IPC-PFW8601-A180 or IPC-PFW8800-A180) to give good coverage in zone 2, but it its not crucial right now. If those panoramic cameras were about 50% less I'd be getting...

    New Panoramic Cams from Dahua

    New Panoramic Cams from Dahua

...But, you give up some lens speed (f2.0 vs f1.8) for that extra vertical FOV. So if 44˚vertical is acceptable for an installation, the IPC-PFW8601-A180 is probably the better option (based on the slightly faster lens, and presumably cheaper cost). Having 80˚vertical FOV is pretty sweet though...

    New Panoramic Cams from Dahua

If anybody need it, here is sample video I made with this new PFW8800-A180 bullet. Much bigger scene than PFW8601, so it should be better for warehouses for example.

    New Panoramic Cams from Dahua

Why do you think they need 4 (or even 3) cameras to cover 180 deg if each camera has a FOV of around 90 deg with 3mm lens & 1/2.8 sensor? I like that they let you adjust the settings for each sensor separately.

    Fisheye cameras?

Yeah I can only image how much this will cost. I'm guessing over 500 or around...still don't buy a fisheye maybe if your in a small room this would be ok but not outside

    Fisheye cameras?

...indoors.. they have tiny aperatures and and cant identify anyone further than 6ft away from it... low light is horrible, just about everything about fisheye camera is shit. if you want a 180 degree camera designed for outdoors this is what you want: IPC-PFW8601-A180 | Dahua Technology

    Fisheye cam low light limitations

...not the technology.. I suppose if they become 100x more sensitive the'll be okay, but still worse than the non-fisheye variants. you can do multi-sensors, here's an outdoor 180 degree pano camera with no fisheyeing.. its 3x6mm 2MP cameras in one chassis: IPC-PFW8601-A180 | Dahua Technology
