Due to budget, I am looking to purchase 2nd hand Intel i5 CPU. And I have the choice of these two kit... 1) i5-3470S (2.90GHz) 2) i5-2500 (3.30Ghz) In GHz terms, i5-2500 wins. But, is i5-2500 good enough for Blue Iris? Why should I pick this over 3470S? Or the other way round? Currently... -

High CPU use on v4.5.0.0 x64 ?
Just upgraded to BI v4.5.0.0 yesterday and since then I've noticed it has been hitting 100% CPU usage. Used to be hovering around 75 to 80%. Can't see anything in the release notes that would affect it. Anyone seeing the same issue? -

Foscam FI9803P - Not working. Help!
I've looked at the order receipt - comes up as "Sold by: Amazon EU S.a.r.L" so yes it was sold by Amazon themselves. To update to this, Amazon has given me a partial refund on this of £35 and recommended me to chase Foscam for the warranty. -

Actually, it was sold by Amazon directly but because it's over 1 year old (19 months), they recommended me to go to Foscam directly for replacement as it has 2 years warranty which means I have a few months left of the warranty. -

I thought I was only one with this exact issue on my DS-2CD2142FWD !!! Will be giving these settings a try and see how I get on with it... mchlpeel - it has been 4 weeks since you've used the new settings - how are you getting on with it so far? -

It's only useful if you plan to use the camera as stand alone. But since you're going to use it with NVR, you don't need to insert an SD card.- tsutton

DS-2CD2142FWD - Operating Temperature
Hi all, According to the official PDF for the DS-2CD2142FWD, it states that the Operating Temperature for this camera is -30C to 60C. http://overseas.hikvision.com/en/Products_accessries_158_i5605.html Yet every time the temp goes down to below 9C - the camera image gets blocky & colour bloat...
