    SD49225-HN Cover Screws

I’ll have to check thread length but that may be the ticket! Thank you.

    SD49225-HN Cover Screws

Thanks anyway but that’s a no go. The problem is that the screw needs to be partially threaded at the end and be smooth in the middle. It’s becuase the cover is threaded also (so it captures the screws so they don’t fall out) along with the body of the camera. If you use one that is threaded...

Dahua 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ Network Camera (SD49225T-HN)

The easiest way I have found is to go to the Dahua website, download the firmware, Unzip it, load it onto a USB, plug it into the NVR, perform the update and then do a reset on the camera and NVR for good measure. If you bought your set up from Andy you should be good to go.

Dahua 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ Network Camera (SD49225T-HN)

I bought the 59225 along with the 49225 as my first cameras from Andy and they have both been fantastic. The major advantage of the 59225 is the auto tracking feature, which by the way can be very cool and a pain at the same time. I am Constantly playing with the settings and playing with the...

    SD49225-HN Cover Screws

Hi All, I recently upgraded the firmwares for my cameras and NVR to the latest and all went well until I went to do a hard reset on the camera. The 4 Phillips screws on the back cover are covered in blue Loctite and hard to remove. I had one screw that the head didn’t even resemble a philips...

    New Dahua Setup?

Per the Data Sheet it looks like IVS and Smart tracking are Included in the setup in the NVR so hopefully that makes it easier. https://us.dahuasecurity.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Datasheet_Pro_NVR52A08-8P-4KS2_IVS_v001_007.pdf

    New Dahua Setup?

Excellent, That sounds pretty much plug and play the way I initially thought. I think my head got wrapped in with assigning IP addresses etc. etc. Will Auto tracking be in the NVR or do I need the web UI for that? Also what kind of options are only available through the Web and can I get the...
