    The digicap is not in ROM Its the HomeLauncher app from hikvision that prevents moving it to tray, its just an app on android. Go to settings and change Home Launcher to Hikvision Intercom app. I believe its called ViSapp or something like that.

    Check resolution limitations, try to lower it down, also check if you have h246. Anything like h254+ or5 wont work

    We usually write off boards like this, but i'd check for validity of that hdd as well. If you are broke and cant aford another one, remove plastic, and put in oven on 180 degree 10 min, cool it down, re plug and try. It will fix bad soldered pins if thats the case.

    Depends on the automation, you could trigger to stop exactly when magnet is closed, or add some delay to it. I dont have configuration, it wasnt on my system.

    I managed to that only using DS-Pm1-O1L 12v relay output Then i made automatization for it. Used wired siren which was connected to that relay. magnet contact state was triggering my relay(you can add delay), which was triggering the siren.

    Well, there is , running ssh and then debug command. But sadly you would neeed someone from hikvision to generate you password to enter debug. If i were on your place, i'd probably flash it using serial cable. But well i can survive bricking few of those :)
