DS-2CD2332 changing password on its own

It was checked on the router as well. Will unchecking this on the router have any negative effects on connecting devises on my network in the future?

DS-2CD2332 changing password on its own

Thank you for the response. I've tried those passwords before when it happened and they did not work. I do not have port forwarding enabled on anything on our home network. I ran the scan and it said it was rejected, so I guess we are good there.

DS-2CD2332 changing password on its own

I have an older DS-2CD2332 with v5.2.0 14072 (all English but purchased from China) and CCH in the serial number that randomly will not connect due to it's password being incorrect. I can use the tool here to easily reset the password and it works great. Sometimes it continues to work for...

Importing old clips from another computer

I replaced the computer that I had BI on several months ago and everything went well except when I copied all of the old clips from the original computer to the new computer and pasted them into the same folders, the old clips are not showing up. Many of these are stored as a BI video with a...

Hard reset and resetting the IP address with SADP fixed the problem. Hope it stays fixed. Thanks for the reminder about the reset.

I have a DS-2CD2032-I (along with others) that I am using Blue Iris on my computer. I have had this camera for a couple of years with no issues and never changed the user name and password on. Yesterday I suddenly get an error of 8000007a on BI with it. I tried to log in straight from the...

New router and now No Signal Error:8000274c

I think I see my problem. How can I change the LAP IP address on BI in the Options menu in the Web Server tab? I don't think it's pointing where it needs to.

New router and now No Signal Error:8000274c

I found it! You have to modify the IP in SADP to match the router, then modify the IP addresses of each camera. For some reason I lost a camera though and now only get a NO SIGNAL I/O error:0 with it.

New router and now No Signal Error:8000274c

Been running Hikvision 2032's and a 2012 for about a year with BI on a laptop with no issues. Changed my router out tonight and now I get the "No Signal Error:8000274c (timeout; check IP address and port) 0" error. I did rename the network and replaced a D-Link DIR-655 router with a Linksys...

    IP Cams on Surface RT?

It does work with RT and is very simple to set up by copying a few things from the BI software on the other computer. You can view the cameras in real time and watch the stored videos. The only drawbacks I can see is I can not figure out how to zoom with it and the stored clips play very...

    IP Cams on Surface RT?

Yes I am running Blue Iris on my laptop. I'll check that out, but I think I have looked at it before and it was only for Win8 and not RT. I'll play with it and post back.

Please help with selection of cameras/NVR and placement

I am currently going through the same thing with trying to decide what cameras to use and where. I've purchased several, put them in different locations, replaced some and moved them around until I was happy with what I was seeing.
