Thanks for all the help. Hardworking Andy is shipping 2 of the NVR5216-16P-4KS2 out to me today. $640 shipped for the pair. I got them ordered just in time before their long holiday. I have one 6tb purple drive that I bought for the other NVR so I guess I will have to get a second one now.

Appreciate the information from both of you. I like the idea of 2 NVR. When I built this building I actually ran some of the camera CAT cable to one room on one end of the building and the rest to a different room on the other end of the building. I wasn't thinking about a "raid" type setup...

Do you generally leave the silica packages inside the cameras or remove them?

I received cameras today. Does anyone know what the difference in part numbers are? I tried to look it up but found nothing. My cameras show model IPC-HDW5231RN-Z . Seems the others in this thread are the same part number without the N. Thanks, Jeff
