Yes I can confirm the HDW5231R-Z has AUDIO through Blue Iris. You need to enable it first through Dahua settings, then set it up in Blue Iris.

My apologies if I wasn't clear. I was looking to get a stable internet connection from my house to the garage, without having to pull wires. That said - another member @marku2 confirmed that Powerline adapters work great when running cables are not possible.

Agreed - TeamViewer is the BEST remote desktop app. Input Director basically allows you to move your mouse cursor from your laptop into the other computer without having to logging into another computer. It's pretty seamless for those looking looking for this type of application.
