    Monitor flickers with hdmi cable

I’m sorry I haven’t responded, it’s been a busy week. I’m thinking it’s a resolution issue as well. I’ve included a couple more pictures. The truck is about 25 feet away from one of the cameras and the tag is unreadable. The other picture is my settings for one of my cameras. I have never...

I have a 16 channel Dahua nvr with 12 cameras are all working great and I have a serial cable to my monitor to the nvr, barely any flicker. My brother has an 8 channel Dahua nvr with 5 cameras and they are all working great. However, his monitor is connected with a hdmi cable and has a...

NVR not picking up cameras on another building using ubiquiti wireless bridge

Tony, forgive me but I don’t have the slightest clue on what your asking. I’m going through an nvr, not a computer. I’d probably would’ve been better off.

NVR not picking up cameras on another building using ubiquiti wireless bridge

Hello guys, I have blue iris on my laptop, the 4 cameras from our garage through thru the ubiquiti bridge have worked flawless for months. I just “assumed” when we got the house cameras up and they were automatically found by the nvr, that the others would be as well. Yes, all the cameras were...

NVR not picking up cameras on another building using ubiquiti wireless bridge

I have finally made head way with setting up cameras at my house. However, the dalhua nvr dhi-nvr4216-16p-4ks2E won’t recognize my 4 others cameras that are coming thru the wireless bridge and won’t display them. I’m thinking it’s something simply but I’m at a loss. Any help is always...

    Which APC would be best

Yes I am looking for a UPS, and power loss shouldn’t exceed 1 hr at most 2 hr. Unless we have another hurricane that put us out for 24 days. And yes, the poe switch is built into the NVR.

    Which APC would be best

I have a 16 channel NVR 8tb HD running 11 cameras and a wireless bridge, in the process of setting up the nvr. Cameras are 5-4mp turrets, 3-2mp turrets and 3-5mp pancake style cameras. I’ve looked all over ipcamtalk and cliff notes, getting confused with all the information and choices. Any help...

Thanks guys for the help. I think a wrap around the cables is going to be the best option.

An issue that shouldn’t be :)

Correct the cable is solid copper 23 gauge through monoprice. I done the wiring according to that guide and tested every cable which all test good. I have 4 cameras up and working 2mp, sorry I don’t have the model in front of me. That 4mp works great on a short test cable but doesn’t work on any...

An issue that shouldn’t be :)

I made up a new 20 ft plus cable and used 2 existing long cables from the other mounted cameras with the same issue. All cables tested good. Like I said, the camera works great on a test cable but won’t on the longer runs. Crazy I know but I leaning toward a Poe + switch.

An issue that shouldn’t be :)

Hey Guys, it isn’t a POE+ and I’ve tried everything that I know to try. Like I said, it works great in the shorter cable but nothing on a 20 ft plus cable. I’m leaning toward a stronger Poe switch is needed.

An issue that shouldn’t be :)

Hey Guys, I do believe my switch doesn’t have enough power. It’s a 56 watt on 4 ports being powered. Pretty sure that’s the problem.

An issue that shouldn’t be :)

I made a temporary new cable. It tested well and still nothing. I think this camera has a door on the side of the camera with a reset button. Would it be safe to reset it ?

An issue that shouldn’t be :)

Hey Guys, I have a 5 port poe switch, 4 which are powered. All of my cameras work great, however we just installed the newest which is a 4mp T5442T-ZEB. I was able to initialize it with no problem, view it with no issues even mounted where it is now. The red leds work on it but I can’t get it...

RJ45 plug recommendations for STP CAT 6 monoprice cable

RJ45 plug recommendations for STP CAT 6 monoprice cable
