I went with the Schlage Camelot Connect locks. They are a grade 1 lock but as was said, make sure the jamb is reinforced. Very happy with the locks. You can catch them for a decent price if you shop around and depending on the style wanted.

I second TonyR's recommendation. I have a couple of those Amcrest cams inside pointed at entry doors. They work very well with BI. Recently Amcrest emailed me a special on the 4MP version and it too looked like a price performer. Think it was $20 more than the 2MP.

Agree, most likely thinking it is a place to nest. I have a camera mounted under an eave and the same thing is happening. The camera has had a starling (looks like the same type as the one on your cam) take a run at the camera two or three times.

I've got one installed outside under the eave in the NE corner of the house. The camera has been in place for about 6-8 months and works well. Haven't noticed any issues with it being a dome.
