Wireshark didn't work... but figured it out. Just tried a bunch of paths and parameters. Ended up just needed a parameter of channel=1, channel=2, etc. So if anyone gets these cheap Chinese video encoders try that parameter first.

i figured it out! when "Use hardware acceleration when available" is turned off you won't get the profiles that allow audio. they turned it off to improve chrome's performance.

Having the same issue as OP.

just updated to the latest BI, 4.6.0.3 and im not having any issues. only time i did was when they put out a version that caused issues, it's a couple pages back on here. there was a patch made but there have been several updates since then and all have been working fine.

i had that error when i upgraded to that version that was messed up a couple weeks back.. i did the patch that was posted but BI came out with new versions since then and all have worked fine.

does anyone know what would cause a delay in audio? when i go to listen to audio in live view there is about a 16s delay between audio and video. not sure if this is a UI2 thing or not.

blue iris updated itself and it seems to have resolved the issue. im on 4.2.6.0 now... i hope this update also fixes my BI crashing periodically. its only acted up since the last couple updates. before that stable as can be.

I love this interface! i haven't the time to read all 22 pages of this thread but is there a way to completely remove the original BI interface and only have this one. sometimes users get the old one and get confused.
