5 MegaGixel 1/1.8" low light destroyer for $90-AVOID LONGSE JUNK

Dahua is a solid performer in terms of reliability and day image, but it can't come even close to s500 for night vision. So pick your poison essentially with these cams. The new Dahua the fender mentioned will have supposedly IMX291 sensor which is also available in Longse cams, so we can expect a good night time performance, but at $190 price to me personally it's too much to pay for it when non varifocal IMX291 cams available for around $50.

What happens when it drops out? I have had this happen on a couple hot days with my s500 camera where external POE got overheated and I had to manually reboot the cam, but they don't normally loose connection otherwise.

When they drop out sometimes they come back up in a couple minutes sometimes i have to power cycle the cable for the poe switch powerdsine 2024, the poe cable is actual in the roof so its not hanging out, I use blueiris for recording and snapshots,
sorry i am talking about the LRDC60XA200 just posted here because if i order it will be LRDC60S500 variant i wa thinking the bullet for internal poe?

What are the door temps when this happens. Since you mentioned you are in FL then I am assuming it's hot.

I've updated the first post which is related to POE overheating, seems like it's a common problem.

You could measure the POE box with IR thermometer if you have one, btw does it go offline during night as well?

Yes it goes offline at night sometimes, since last week i have 1 that i can log into but just show a black screen, had longse tech do teamviewer last night they could not upgrade it or issue any commands to it when they tried to change the IP address or reset it from the iterface, they telnet into it and deleted what i am guessing is some config files but it still dd not work so they want me to manual reset it so i will do it when the sun goes down. I have noticed the one that was always going down has been up for a whole 24hr now, i have 4 hikvision 2cd2132f-is and apart from night time quality its solid no drops. can those poe catch a fire?

Do you have poe splitter to test out or just powering using 12V?

I see what you mean. Will be hard as I ran the cables in the attic and it would be a project to get power there, the cameras are installed under the soffits had to fish cables from outside, I woul be able to test with one inside the house but temps are controlled. Is there anything that can be added to the external Poe to help dissipate the heat.

So that cable with POE is inside the attic then or enclosed space? If that's the case I am almost positive this might be an issue with yours as well as I had with mine when it was inside the box.

well same thing, hot attic or inside enclosed box... , so if you are willing to troubleshoot this try my suggestions above before any drastic changes.

Sent you pm.

Yesterday, the HeroSpeed.net website was back online, but their MySQL database was offline.
Today, it appears everything is back online and working as expected.

Yep...seems to be back...but with the same old stale firmware; I wish they'd make the newer firmware available.

I made the change it seems like when there are 2 camera's connected one starts to drop intermittently, they have diff IPs and port but the other 2 hikvision 2132f is are fine. This morning I disconnected one of the longse and now the one that was dropping seems to be holding. If it was my equipment I would imagine the hikvision would drop also ?

How are they powered?
Assuming active PoE, what is the power budget of the PoE switch and the rating of the individual ports?
Is there any way you could use a 12V DC supply as an experiment?

In other words...put it on a different power source...power adapter...different POE switch...POE injector?
