I've done a CLEAN install, but whenever I try to boot as a service, it fails. My account is Local, Administrator, Password protected.
What now?
Thanks, Richard
sounds like you are not providing the proper credentials. That doesn't work. I'm starting from scratch. Install BI, goto settings / startup and tell it to run as a service. It asks for my windows login which I provide. After that, I can't get in.
What exact version of BI did you install?I'm not attempting to store or do anything yet. This is a fresh install with no cameras.
does you password have a space in it?The one I downloaded from this web page a couple of hours ago: Home - Blue Iris Software
I don't see the version on there.
is it a pin or a passwordNo space in the password. It's four digits
Go into the registry, Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Perspective Software\Blue Iris\OptionsIt's a fully updated Win 10 machine. I've probably rebooted it twenty times today trying to get this to work.
are you using any antivirus?I've done that: Require run as administrator ...
I would wipe the system and start fresh. Takes less than 10 min to install windows with the MS media creation tool.Just built-in windows
