Dahua SD59225U-HNI

no idea...switch is always a good idea its 20 bux...a managed poe switch even better..
Hey.. so blue iris is recording nice.. when i view from pc its perfect..all clips play fine.. problem is this live view is choppy at times from phone even though im just on home network., especially when auto tracking kicks in.. really starting to think its my router..what do you think

Only way to find out is to add the switch.
Plug all security cams into the switch. Plug BI server into same switch.
Run one network cable from same switch to a port on the router.
You can also adjust the bandwidth used within the BI mobile app.

Does anyone connect this cam to the PoE+ switch of a Dahua DHI-NVR52A16-16P-4KS2 and get it working correctly with sufficient power supply?

I was already to hit the buy button on this Dahua SD59225U camera but wanted to visit the Dahua site first to see if they still offer them and if they have firmware files available, etc. I cannot find any info on Dahua's own website mentioning this camera. Any idea why this could be?
I have other late model Dahua cameras too that cannot be found on their site and therefore cannot be updated, or so it would seem. Am I missing something here?

Do not look at the US site, look for the international site.

I have purchased mine in February and since then, no new updates came out.
Mine came with that software.
If I remember correctly, Andy has posted an updated firmware somewhere, but I couldn't find it again.

I see. I am looking to buy one of these cameras with the wall mount and in English and upgradeable. I am hoping that the camera will run properly with only POE from my switch.

You need POE+ switch. It comes with a big(!) 24V brick, though. You may be able to power it, with that and just connect it via Ethernet, just for the data.
I love this cam. It is not super accurate, but it is good enough for me. I may have not setup the IVS rules correctly either.
Sometimes, just zooms into my car's windshield for no reason, or zooms in on my sprinkler, holiday light that changes light modes, but that actually moves, so it is OK.

I think I'll give it a try and post back when I'm up and running. Nighty nite.

Can you install that huge brick nearby?
