Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)

That was me ;)
It happend, because dhl express in germany had missed the sipping costs on the invoice. The value price was accepted. In this case they suggest shipping cost for over 86 Euro, so the hole price goes over 150 Euros, so i had to pay tax + 10,5% + 19%. Would it be under 150 Euro i only have to pay 19%

Code:
Der gesamte Warenwert lt. Proformainvoice betrug 95,00 US-Dollar (Kurs 1,0421) = 91,16 Euro.

So it´s better to write 0€ shipping costs! btw incl. in item value. Normally it´s equal what you write for the item price, in germany in most of any import cases i had to show the credit bill anyway  In this case not, why ever (maybe DHL had needed to long for processing and after i asked what happend they did the toll processing without normal asking)
So right now i help EU guys if they select this way. For USA ,Australia never have tax issues if not very big order.

I personally have waited for Andy to tell me he's got stuff ready to ship before I ask for an invoice and as soon as I see the money leave my account he ships my stuff, so far I'll be sticking with him, I wouldn't have even tried to order or anything until this week. I admit I buy damn near everything off amazon but I am happy we have a channel to get cameras fast from China without being raped by places like Nelly's who jack the prices way up.

I have done a lot of business with Nelly's, They are a American business and have to make a profit. I could always call them or e-mail them and get a call back or response back from them. What I saw on the website was always in stock when I ordered and got a REAL time tracking number. As far as the mark up is concerned, it was really no different than most American companies reselling Asian products. I have a business reselling Asian products and Installing them too.I have to make a profit also. A lot of people here are well versed on technology and some are not. That is how I make my living and there is a market for service of these Asian products. The term being raped is kind of harsh and you always have the choice of going else-ware.

You are correct, but when you pay $100 more, (which I did buying a hikvision from them) before I ventured to buy the next one from China directly I have to wonder if the profit it excessive, considering they probably pay less than I do when THEY buy them so $100 or more markup on one camera, well I'm sure you know how much the profit is. And yes, everyone has a choice, I chose not to pay what I see as excessive markup. :)

100% on this. The greed level (markup) in this country is absurd. For those of us on a fixed income, we have no choice but "to go elsewhere".

The Lite is 2x2MIMO and the Pro is 3x3MIMIO, the Pro can achieve slightly higher speeds and run at a higher power..

Ive got Pro's and Lites arround the house and there is no way you can tell any difference when your connected to one vs the other... the Lite's run at lower power and have a lower lowest power setting, so they are easier to setup in high density configuration in a normal size residential house..

If you put a bunch of access points that are too powerfull too close together all you do is create roaming issues where your client (phone/laptop) grabs onto an access point and wont let go; even though there is one much closer and faster nearby it should switch over too... If you have 3 access points in your house, you want it setup so the closest one always has significantly higher signal than the other 2.. then as you move about your proprty, the client will drop off one AP and move to another AP seamlessly because it always wants to be on the AP with the strongest signal..

When all the access points are high powered, your phone will see them all with a 99% signal and have absolutely no idea which one is physically closer.. so it might connect to the one on the other side of the house with a dozen walls inbetween where the speeds are shit.

@EMPIRETECANDY What do you mean with "For the client from EU, we suggest you to use free tax way, just some more days". Do you ship it with China Registered mail and declare low value or is there an other way.
I had mine sent that way, it was i think via postnl
Item pre-advised the 23th and delivered in Netherlands at 5th. So that was less than 12 days actual shipping.
No import tax, it was on the paperworks a baby camera with value of like $18 or so.
As it is a non labeled dahua, it could easy be a baby camera :)

@j4co,

My experience when someone ships from China directly with PostNL, is that if declared a low value, I sometimes have to send an invoice to PostNL with the paid value. If shipped via China Registered air mail and value 20 dollars, that's the best way to go in my opinion. It almost always gets thru without paying import tax. I don't know if there's another way to avoid taxes..

I hope Andy has these camera's in stock soon. Can't wait to try one out and then sell my Hikvision 4Mp turrets.

I am looking for the junction box mount that will fit this camera: Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z) it shows PFA135 but that is not the case.
A side not on Amazon, its the only way to go but they did not have them in stock so I bought 2 from B&H Photovideo Model PFA135 junction box that says it fits the camera, wrong it does not even align up with the mounting holes. I paid $8.99 to ship and now I have to pay $8.99 to ship back I might as well keep them due to shipping cost. Amazon prime is the best

just buy something from lowes that it will fit on and go.

Thanks hmjgriffon, i found the issue it is actually a PFA137 and somehow BH screwed up the order and sent PFA135. I am trying to make it appealing for the wife by using what is designed for the camera
