I have chinese ip-camera Hikvision 2CD2232-I5 with firmware V5.3.0_150513 manufactured 09/2015. I want to make it multi-language. I can test you new tools (Unpacker and packer) on my ip-camera.

Use the downgrader for now and then mtd hack, remember to keep your original mtd files though.

Yes 5.3.5 has been released, my supplier for hik let me know yesterday al their stock of 2335 is now 5.3.5 and their engineer is having trouble cracking. If anyone can help with this it would be greatly appreciated!

I tried to apply Custom Firmware Downgrader 5.3.0 Chinese to 5.2.5 English from here, but it's not working. Please, advise me where to learn about mtd hack?

i use TFTP to apply firmware, and problem is as described there.

I'm not sure if it has the new 'tell me your region over ONVIF' feature to exclude CN cameras connected as ONVIF from the warm clutches of a non-CN NVR though. So beware until proven otherwise.
