Whom are you asking?@blake The picture you posted is 1280x720. Is this intentional? Can you provide a true 4Mpixel capture?
Which HIK turret are you using? What are the video and image parameters of the capture?
Looks like there is a motorized version -Z of that camera (only the lens is motorized not pan tilt) which takes the hassle out of adjusting the varifocal.Anybody has any insights into the availability of the DS-2CD2742FWD-I(S)? Does milkisbad have a website?
My guess would be around 300 when available.Oooooo that sounds good... but expensive?

Brakar, 12v is only for the DC power jack on the camera's pigtail. Standard PoE is 48 to 56 volts by design, and the camera will run on that. Just don't plug the PoE injector's power supply directly into the camera because, like I said, the DC power jack on the camera is intended for 12v.
