My gray came stock with 5.5.0 luckily and 0 problems aside from that RTSP Auth being set to digest by default and the illegal login lock. Didn't have to use spacers in the mount but man I wish they mentioned the metric needed for those packaged expansion screws. It's just under a half inch but mistakenly (and stupidly) thought it was 5.5mm until I realized I was reading from the template for the camera haha but after getting stuck too many times I went and bought some 1/2" x 3" ones that are better designed for cinder block, I think the ones the mount come with are made for solid concrete. I had to use a grinder to cut the sleeves down to match and try my hardest to drill straight holes which is a bit challenging 20' high with a heavy rotary!
I too get some minimal lens flare from the sun etc but it's very acceptable imo. I didn't spring for the 3mp because apparently it's not worth the extra $ but if there was a 4mp I would have gotten it in a heartbeat. While the resolution isn't as clear as my other 4mp's the low light performance is so good I haven't had to use the IR once which is funny because the hidden IR was the main selling point for me as it should be very powerful.
Other than that I did have trouble getting the wires to fit inside the super tight space and worry I may be bending them too much. If it was an external wiring instead of straight through I would have used a junction box but whoever designed the mount could have done better. Make sure you pull any slack before tightening the bolts or it will catch on the wall if done later.
My only issue now is getting PTZ controls to work in BI. I've tried ONVIF and both Hikvision options but so far I can only control it directly in the camera, getting a PTZ: 12029: /onvif/PTZ log error
