Pandemic threat? Anyone else concerned?

So...how about we do 24 days instead of the minimum 14 days?

Spent this morning making certain Mrs. Q™ and I are ready for some social distancing. No panic, just ready. Run. Hide. Fight baby.

Also created this public service meme for my fellow Americans...

Side saddles are missing from those. Eight more handy rounds that way.

I have the 5-round elastic type saddles which are off-camera. And those aren't just any shotgun shell belts Sebastian...those be Eagle Industries belts. :)

But my Franzen combination cable locks suQ. Do you know of a top-end brand of combination cable lock? Need combination, not keyed. Been looking around but can't seem to locate anything that looks of quality.

Ya got me there.

Prof Ricciardi added that Italy’s death rate may also appear high because of how doctors record fatalities.
“The way in which we code deaths in our country is very generous in the sense that all the people who die in hospitals with the coronavirus are deemed to be dying of the coronavirus.
“On re-evaluation by the National Institute of Health, only 12 per cent of death certificates have shown a direct causality from coronavirus, while 88 per cent of patients who have died have at least one pre-morbidity – many had two or three,” he says.

MSM will never tell you this.

As I've written previously, obesity may be many an American's undoing.

It would be very telling if they could test for titers (antibodies) for COVID. I'm sure by now they must have isolated the IgG for COVID. Testing for this instead of (or in addition to) would reveal how many people have had the infection (presumably without knowing it). If it turns out that many/most have the titers, then it would go a long way in determining if/when herd immunity is obtained.
Supposedly South Korea has had success by testing for both the antibodies AND the antigen. This way, they can see If someone is infectious or not, if they've already had it, or if they've currently got it. That allows quarantine only of those who can currently transmit the virus, protection of those still susceptible, and allows people who have already had it and are no longer contagious to work freely.

This obviously requires a lot of testing, but it has allowed good control without completely shutting down the country.

We absolutely need readily available, fast testing for both antibody and antigen. In the mean time, complete isolation is the only course of action available.

There you go. Or in my case shutting down New York State.

We're locked down in the great state of IL. Neighborhood kids running a muck, so I'm on here now...

In addition to Italy having the 2nd oldest population per capita they are known (especially the old population) for smoking a shit ton of cigarettes. Maybe they'd die of lung cancer if the Covid-19 didn't get them first.

I've been reading this a lot on other forums. It will be interesting to see how this whole thing shakes out.

And the beat goes on.

You may have read that I've been sick for 17-days and Mrs. Q™ is now feeling the same symptoms, plus chills. Blah. Blah. Blah.

So Mrs. Q™ gets a robocall this Sunday evening advising that a staff member at the school she works in has tested positive. Of course they can't release the individual's name "because of HIPAA law" but that Mrs. Q™ should wash her hands. Really. So I tell Mrs. Q™ to call the NY State "Covid-19" Hotline (the same number I posted about calling earlier earlier this week) in order to make an appointment for New York State drive-through Covid-19 testing (which is available not too far away). She calls; "Wait time is 4 hours and 9 minutes." "FuQ this" Mrs. Q™ mutters and hangs up.

Meanwhile so nice that Senator Rand Paul was tested “out of an abundance of caution “ (per his official tweet). I’ve been refused testing 2 separate times, and now Mrs. Q™ says "FuQ this."

WHERE ARE THE TEST KITS YOU FUQERS.
