Wow spamming we are not liers as we have helped over 400 people with ups protection and don't an independent survey of our customers and got 5 out of 5 star rating for our services that we provide so i think the reason why you think we are lying is because you thought we were a customer then we owned up and said we were the company, ok

We are going to bump this thread to the top as this kid Sean Currie of www.protectpower.co.uk Protect Power LTD in the UK thinks he can intimidate me with legal action. What a moron. I would certainly avoid doing any business with this liar. I told this lying spammer where he and his solicitor could shove it. I begged him to "take it further". In the US deceptive advertising and misleading comments are violation of the respective states consumer fraud acts or their analogues. We certainly know that he did not speak with anyone as this is just bad legal advice. Furthermore, this site is not subject to UK laws or regulation. That battle was won quite a while ago, July 4th is fast approaching. He has further signed up for the forum again using the screen name

They have asked me to ask you if you remove all the comments then things will not be taken any further but if you leave them up then they will take things further and I will pass the whole case over to them
We have told them about the comments we made and what you've said in return and have agreed with me that there is no illegal acts or anything been done but threats have been so I will leave it upto you now to think about your actions

As a new member to this forum, I've read this thread first and gives me course for concern..... Fenderman... I think you have handled this in an unprofessional way.... and possibly left yourself open for slander suite. .. As a staff member of this site I would expect a more of a reasonable response or simply delete and ban... I'm not entirely sure what your Issue is with the first post? Pretending to be a customer is not illegal... Many companies do this... it's called market research... Seantnt... are you a user of the company Protect Power LTD? I do agree, that to post Ads on someone else's forum without permission is spamming and to be fair to Fenderman, Deserves an apology... 1) Running forums is very challenging as there are numerous actors who want to spam forums and create "fake news" / astro turf. While most forums can handle a small amount of this without losing the purpose and feel of the forum, if not checked it can be the death of the forum.
2) Each forum has a TOS ( terms of service ) . Misrepresentation can be against the rules of the forum, and in some places it maybe even illegal. ( you have to check the various "hacking" laws ).
