I get the appeal of "free" money and the incentive to take a company public, but all if this is Jack's fault for doing so. I say this having never had to make the decision, but I would never sell my ownership in something I believed in and built. You sell the right for a bunch of idiots to make decisions, and you get a bunch of idiotic results.

It has been a while since I’ve ripped more than a quarter….
Our family no longer goes out to eat. Over the last few years service has gotten to be worst and worst. We always get seated, drinks ordered and filled, food delivered and the next time we ever see waitresses is when they deliver the bill, and usually that’s after having to find another waitress to ask ours to bring a bill.
This is all over around here, pure laziness. When we would go out I was at the point I just took my own water bottle in because I knew odds are my cup won’t get refilled.
I would always leave a quarter. That way they know I didn’t forget.
It used to tick my wife off because she used to be a waitress in high school. But she also would get ticked by lack of service.
