Are you looking at where a fixed camera can trigger a ptz to move to a preset? If so I think you need an nvr52xx to do that.I've been following the auto tracking thread (Dahua poor auto tracking - What am I doing wrong?) and have noted that one of the other PTZ cameras has the ability to trigger a preset when a tripwire or intrusion box is activated. I know my current firmware, which is not the latest, does not offer that option. Does anyone know if the latest firmware provides for this functionality?
You can leverage triggers from cameras (built in or BI trigger)and have Blue Iris send a PTZ to a fixed position. Are you looking at where a fixed camera can trigger a ptz to move to a preset? If so I think you need an nvr52xx to do that.
Yes but I don't think you can do it natively with standalone cameras can you? I believe you need an nvr or BI to communicate between cameras. You can leverage triggers from cameras (built in or BI trigger)and have Blue Iris send a PTZ to a fixed position.
Makes sense to me, something has to coordinate.Yes but I don't think you can do it natively with standalone cameras can you? I believe you need an nvr or BI to communicate between cameras.
Ya, in the example they were talking about I believe the person had done it on an nvr5208, whose interface would look very similar to their camera, that's why they would be confused why they can't see the same options on their camera. They probably didn't realize they were looking at an nvr interface.Makes sense to me, something has to coordinate.
I've ran it for a week so far. No issues.Has anyone tested? I need to figure out NP vs PN it looks like from that search.
Apply all bin files? Skip the one with boot in it? @looney2nsI've ran it for a week so far. No issues.
Just the single largest bin file.Apply all bin files? Skip the one with boot in it? @looney2ns
Factory reset after upgrade? Is before (with full IP reset) needed as well normally? @looney2nsJust the single largest bin file.
