    Yes,
Most cameras there are also some type of sensitivity or gain control for this function.

If there are three groups of people the group that has the higher population or count will get the focus of the camera.

There are at least 2 function/settings that will affect this.
---The gain or sensitivity adjustment for the heat map. (Dependent upon camera type, model and features).
---Facial Recognition function related to specifically looking (Comparison) for a specific face or faces.

Simple answer is the heat map is a function that will concentrate on the larger group of detectible faces.

It is OK to buy this camera from different supplier, other than Andy?
I love Andy, I have purchased 6 cameras from him, they are all great, but at this time, I can't afford his price.
I have found one, for $399 shipped.

Anybody knows, what size is the mounting thread between the camera adapter and the bent pipe?
I'm thinking of making a different mount.
Also I'm thinking about painting at least, the black side covers and the ball, in white.

I'm in no hurry, to get it. I still work on my garage(making a simple man cave, w/projector+projector lift+screen, work benches, etc.).
Last time, when I had an IR issue, I have fixed it myself(I'm fixing electronics, as a hobby). It is way too expensive, to ship something back.
In the near future, I will be buying at least 1-2 more cameras, and most likely from Andy.
Only this one, seems a bit to much of a difference. And that is, all I have($400).

It may be cheaper up front but as others have said countless times, it comes down to the quality of the seller and their support when you ultimately need them on an order or piece of equipment. For that peace of mind alone @EMPIRETECANDY would be the 1st choice for a number of us (myself included) for these purchases.

I completely agree with you, but I don't have enough money, so I have to take a chance, with somebody else(this time only). My next camera for the backyard, will be purchased from Andy.

    Tibimakai,

I have 10 of these cameras.

I will be ordering 10 more in the next few months.

I purchased all my cameras from Andy.

I have been scammed a number of times purchasing cameras.

Andy had all 10 of my cameras delivered on my doorstep in about a week.

Andy quoted me a price. Created a special link on his aliexpress website and I paid for them... Nice and easy.

Andy will provide you with any help or deal with any issues you may have...

Just thought i would repeat this just in case.... I cant imagine that camera being new? Maybe used, refurbished? Maybe just an empty shell?

Be careful... Use a credit card you can get a refund with.

I'd be careful of getting scammed. You don't know the seller. They're in a foreign country beyond reach. The price is almost too good to be true - if something is, it usually is. Also, consider even if you get what you're paying for, it might not be an EU / US model. If it's that much cheaper it could eg be made for the Chinese, Indian or Malaysian etc markets which could mean different functionality, language, menus. Even things such as motors could be different to withstand greater heat at the expense of being able to operate in the cold. I'd be very careful to fully verify what you think you're getting before buying and even then, there's no guarantee without a trade history, that what you're told matches what you're getting.

I appreciate your money situation, I'm short of money myself. However, sometimes it's better to save up a little extra. $200 saved in price is not better if it results in $400 lost. You might get lucky and gain. Alternatively, you could lose everything.
