Same, I'm waiting to find out how much the pfa140 is, gonna see if I can find a box at home depot instead also, but I still need the pole mount piece

I think that's the route I'll take with regards junction box.
I go down to local shop and see what metal junction boxes I can get.

My idea is drill onto the face of metal junction box and use rubber washer and grommet to seal up.
Would need a water ingress test first lol.

http://www.dahuasecurity.com/download/Accessory_Selection_2017012354.pdf

FPB303W works for the 6inch ptz, what we talked is 5inch, so totally can't work. Here is the link for all dahua bracket selection.
Thanks for the link.

I might be being stupid here please correct me but why would the size of the camera make any difference if the mount and screw thread diameter is exactly the same?
Simple logic tells you it will fit.
Even if manufacturer don't list it for that model.

I know I keep banging on about it but have you physical tried it?

I've convinced myself it will fit.

The 1 inch difference in camera size will not foul the mount because it is under mounted

Weight can't be an issue.

I just cannot figure it out

The key spec for me is the numbers on the pipe diameter and thread size and diameter which are all identical

yet...its all a matter of time..
I hear you buddy.
It's been 2 years and counting so if it goes pop I'm not overly fussed.
I'll have had my money's worth.
Although I hope it stays strong as it will come in handy in its new location once the new beast arrives

I agree I've got 4 of their caneras
2 domes and 2 bullet ptz
1 of each here and at my parents.

Don't get me wrong if it was my only can and it went pop I'd be a bit pissed.
But I went in with my eyes open knowing the gamble of no name cheap Chinese equipment and was prepared for it to not last.

After all its a hobby for me

If your are a hobbyist and the video is not important to you then knock yourself out..most folks need coverage and dont want to get up on the ladder every six months...Huisun/improx has proven to be worse than foscam in terms of reliability...they dumped a bunch of the crap on unsuspecting folks on this forum and elsewhere then disappeared...

As above had mine for 2 years and not a single problem and maybe its the UK climate which is not that harsh on them.
Every camera wont fail..but the failure rate is insane...you have to be really out of your mind to even consider a Huisun knowing what we know about the failures.

I wholeheartedly agree the way it all ended was real bad.

I can get what I need from the cameras.

But hence upgrading to the dahua starlight for better image for other aspects.

I can't flame if I had no problem. But again you should especially buying anything from china be prepared for it to go bad at any point.

I have3 hik cams that provide backup which will soon be upgraded too.

I can honestly say I've never been up the ladder to it either

If I knew then what I knew now no question I wouldn't have bought it that's a good point.

But buying early there's always that element of unknown.

As with anything there will always be early adaptors into the unknown.
As is human nature we are all attracted to a barging price at some point.
Not exactly a bargain equipment wise but price.

A thing to also note is all mine are first generation

+2 on the Huisun non hate camp.
Same here. I have 4 Huisun's/Imporx (and only one has died, and that was on the hottest day of last summer. I replaced my deck Huisun with this Dahua 25x PTZ camera. I'm really liking the Dahua so far. The PT is a whole lot faster than the Huisun and IQ is great. Well the SD59225U-HNI does cost a few pennies more though. :)
