Yes I'm sure they have issues in that Hikvision are getting them kicked off Aliexpress. The issue I have is the lies, lies and more damn lies that they reply with.

Is there any issue if you use 50Hz in the states vs 60Hz? I see lots of cams from China are only 50Hz, since they use PAL over there.

in general, no. but sometimes, depending on the lighting in the scene and the exposure time used,
you'll get some flickering in a 50hz cam that you wont see on a 60hz cam.
for example, with cheap AC LED strings (xmas lights) that don't use real rectifiers...

Just to follow-up and say my other camera arrived safe and sound. Whatever happened that weekend they didn't ship my camera as it was due to go out on the Monday. Now that they are back up and running they sent mine out and it arrived yesterday. I did have to chase them though.....
Considering buying another 6 although maybe not of this seller as they don't have the 6mm

I have five of these cameras on my newly arrived DS7608NI-I2.The nvr is white box U.S upgradable and all cameras work fine.

I have 6mm DS-2CD2332-i - original updateable US version from Ali for about 90USD. For this price I would never think about the hacked versions.

Depends on the flood: IP66 is "protected against heavy seas or powerful jets of water" flood protection would require IP68 "protected against complete, continuous submersion in water."

For one thing, the "United States" version are able to run at NTSC 60hrz whereas the Chinese Region cameras only run PAL 50hrz.
