I would also suggest the dahua with built in mic for about same price somewhere in discussions. It was a turret which I prefer and thinking about trying a dahua. Still waiting for my imporx v2 ptz 10x to play with then I will consider.

There should be a setting for the capture size. It should be in the same window where you choose brightness color .... so you can choose to capture complete screen or crop the image to the resolution.

Thanks a lot! It works. It is the last settings on that screen (Image/Video adjustment/Capture mode/Off-1920x1080x25fps-2048x1536x25fps)
Hope it is only aspect ratio settings, not recording settings.

One more thing regarding Aliexpress camera: I have third camera (second chinese hacked hik.), FW 5.3.6. I have two problems:
-I'm unable to correctly set time, it is always one hour forward. My timezone is UTC+1, during DST UTC+2. I did almost everything, but this is terrible.
-I set H265 codec, everything is fine, but I cannot play stored video in VLC. Only in Hikvision webpage (remote access to NVR) and in VSplayer. I am also unable to convert that video with Hikvision's converter, which came with VSplayer.

Any ideas?

Next time I buy only original cams from Ali, even they are a bit expensive.

Ive just received my one of these to go alongside my 2CD2032. Ive it setup and working fine but im struggling with picture settings. Compared to the 2CD2032 the picture is very washed out.

Can anyone post their image settings please for me to try?

Mounted my 2.8mm turret today at the peak on the front of the house. This will be the "let's just see what's going on in the neighborhood" camera. I'm pleased with the image but disappointed that the view isn't as wide as I hoped. This is replacing a FLIR FX camera that is 160 deg FoV and has image dewarp - really amazing picture in the daytime but handicapped with the cloud services.

Thinking of getting a couple more of these turret Hiks and have one pointed left and the other right on the front corners of the house.

I see my supplier looks to be down and out with the Hik brand, dam spy's reported them to Hikvision I guess..sad day. Or a house cleaning well see I will keep posted.

Sorry for the noob question. So I bought 2 of these cameras last month, 4mm lens, and finally was able to get them installed over the weekend. They look great but I have one issue. I have 2 DS-2CD3345-I in the rear of my house and I love them. The viewing angle is wide and they cover everything i need to see. They also are 4mm lens. With these DS-2CD2335-I I assumed with ordering the same lens, 4mm, that I would get the same result. Well it is not so much. In BI instead of being more 16x9 viewing area its more 4x3 and a square if that makes sense. I have tried adjusting the picture quality to 1920 and it did not work. I assume since they are different cameras its just a different field of view but figured I would ask in here in case anyone has any tips or tricks. Thanks

I think the 3mm hik is 4:3..maybe you can try reducing quality to 2mp for q16:9 ratio, i read the additional 1mp is purely vertical

if is not stolen too. Anyway-we will see. After issue with xinray's chinese cam with fw 5.3.6, with incorrect time (timezone) I decided to order original english updateable cams from ali. I found one seller with good prices, I'm awaiting one 2332-i cam now, should arrive around half of june, then I will order more, if everything ok.

I ordered a couple of the Chinese ones from XinRay. One was shipped that I know of and another was due to ship on Monday (three days ago). I've contacted VIVI for an update
