if is not stolen too. Anyway-we will see. After issue with xinray's chinese cam with fw 5.3.6, with incorrect time (timezone) I decided to order original english updateable cams from ali. I found one seller with good prices, I'm awaiting one 2332-i cam now, should arrive around half of june, then I will order more, if everything ok.

Just out of interest what was the timezone issue?

Enabler: I live in timezone Europe/Prague (UTC+1, in summer we have DST, so UTC+2). I set everything as in other cams, but with this cam I see local time +1 hour in picture. Now I synced time again with PC, then correct time + timezone UTC+1 was set. Then I looked on actual view, few seconds run correct time, then time changes to +1hr, timezone the same. Maybe it was done by syncing with NVR, Hik's 7616NI-E2.



Enigma: I bought 2332 for 91USD with shipping via normal registered airmail. I cannot and also don't want to tell more, I wait until I get it and could confirm it is english updateable version (if I get chinese hacked version, then it is for around 20USD more than normally being sold on Ali).

I dont think I have that issue on mine from Xinray. I live in -5:00, but +1 hour. maybe i dont notice it because the bug is 1 hour?

I have 2 from XinRay, one 5.3.3 and one 5.3.6 and only 5.3.6 does it, 5.3.3 is ok.

Sorry to hear about Xinray - I got a mix of 5 Hiks a couple of weeks back from them with no problems, all were "multi-language". The processing was 2 days over, but DHL to UK was < 36 hours to the door with minimal customs, so well pleased...

One of the cams was a DS-2CD2345-I with v5.3.6 firmware and I've not spotted anything a miss with the time on daylight savings with NTP enabled.

Another must have camera that should be in your arsenal a Imporx v2 10x , took me a long time to pull trigger on one. This camera is perfect to light up a very dark area and night quality is very good. Only had a few days but, love it and thanks Kalipsa. Also added the Dahua if you want a 4mp with a built in mic

Any of the Dahua cameras come with a SD card slot? If so is this shown in the part number?

Pretty bad name on your second suggestion supplier as his name is "USCAM" I would suggest not using the word Scam in your name as a rule of thumb. The 4th guy has some 12 items so probably some kid running to market down street once you order and hope he grabs you the right one.

I don't think that's a good idea to list Ali's stores with Hiks cams, if you don't want to close them....
Btw:from uscam I have original cam for 128usd and it works fine. Now they had deal for I think 119usd.

"it's a heavy rain yesterday and the rainwater leaked into the warehouse. we need some days to solve the problem. sorry for it."
