I'm not being defensive. You presented a fact not included in the video, that it was an LE who provided info on the house being cleaned. I tried to search and verify that but I was unable to. Everything I could find just said that he was told that info.

It should have certainly sparked some communication. I've said before, when the LEO fell to the ground after having the rifle pointed at him, that officer should have fired a couple of "warning shots" into the ground. The sound of gunshots would have allowed for a much faster response by the SS than using the available communication.

And we don't know what was communicated to whom. We don't know what info moved from one radio system to another system and when. Again, it's normal to have state, local, and feds on different channels. For large events, it's normal to have different zones, like interior and exterior, on different channels. You may not like it or you may feel there's a better way but that doesn't make it so. From experience, the more people you put on a channel, the less opportunity there is for information to be passed along.

I have been thinking about the 15 seconds between the last shot by Crooks and the kill shot. Back in post #627 I made the comment that Crooks was about four feet behind the roof ridge and there were linear marks on the roof ridge cap like rounds came very close as they were shot towards the stage. I thought it strange that he would not be positioned over the ridge cap. There is video of him belly crawling up towards the ridge cap so he was trying to not be seen.

Maybe he took the shots prone on his elbows, four feet downslope of the ridge cap, so as to not be noticed. Maybe the SS Snipers really could not find him at that low angle. Maybe they were not high enough and the ridge cap hid Crooks.

That could account for the 15 seconds before the kill shot. Maybe he took the 8 shots and ducked off his elbows, then came up to make more shots and the SS sniper took him out?

It would be nice to see a view from the sniper's position towards Crooks.

There's a 9th shot immediately after the 8th shot. Then a 10th shot 15 seconds later. This is by no means scientific but I pulled the audio from that video, put it in audacity, and took out the pauses. The first 8 shots sound like the same rifle. The 9th and 10th shot, I don't know. If you remove the 15 seconds space and listen then back to back, there may be a slight difference in the tone of the shot. My theory was a sniper may not have had a good picture on him but sent a shot his way anyway to the to suppress the incoming rounds.

I think the footage of him walking around has already been out. But someone walking around away from others, looking at the roof and not at trump should certainly raised some eyebrows if any leo saw that.

I have my opinions on the shots myself. I have seen several videos, most of them on this thread, audio analysis by a couple of others. I think that there were only two rifles firing shots. There are eight shots fired by Crooks and one by the SS sniper. I do not think that the sound you hear as your 9th shot is in fact a rifle shot. Don't know what it is, but I do not think it is a gunshot. The trouble is that there is no single recording that captures them all from the exact same position. Every one that I have seen is a composite from different videos (smartphones) that are moving around giving the microphones different positions and echoes.

Tonight, I saw something on Fox that I had not seen before. A grainy still that is labeled something like 'these are the last two pictures of the shooter that I got when he pointed his rifle at us just before the SS sniper took him out'. Or something along those lines. I don't know where this comes from or exactly when it was taken. But it could mean that in those 15 seconds he turned the rifle on some people on the ground and then was shot. However, the more I think about it that does not make a lot of sense since Crooks was not close to the side of the building during the shooting. So maybe it was as he was crawling up the roof?

So based on the audio and the videos, especially the one on the roof after Crooks was shot, this is my opinion on what happened.

While he was 'rushed' to take the shots due to the policeman seeing him and then falling from the roof, he took his first three shots with deliberation. The timing between each was unrushed. There is a pause and then five more quickly taken shots. His AR had no bipod. He did not have any barrel rests or anything else to place the barrel on. He was shooting prone. He was four feet down-slope on the roof behind the roof ridge cap. He would have had to raise his body a little, like using his elbows to raise the barrel enough to shoot over the ridge cap and down towards Trump.

Three shots taken aimed. He pauses and maybe drops down a bit, and then comes back up adrenaline pumping, arms shaking, breathing hard, and the next five shots taken quite wildly, rushed, on his elbows. Drops down for a bit and then comes up to take more but gets popped in the head.

Speaker Johnson earlier Monday announced a Trump Assassination Attempt Task Force with seven Republicans:

• RINO Dave Joyce
• Laurel Lee
• Michael Waltz
• Clay Higgins

Eli Crane and Cory Mills visited the site of the attempted assassination against Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. Cory Mills believes the assassination attempt on Trump on July 13 could have been a setup. This is probably why Speaker Johnson did not choose Mills to be a part of the task force. He believes the Secret Service was in on the hit job. Virtually no one believes 20-year-old Thomas Crooks acted alone. According to the official narrative, Crooks did the following all by himself without an insider’s help:

• Flew a drone over the Pennsylvania fairgrounds and got aerial footage of the rally layout on the day of the event – including 2 hours before Trump took the stage.
• Got a range finder through security.
• Evaded law enforcement officers from several different state, local and federal agencies.
• Somehow ‘climbed’ up on a roof with his rifle 450 feet away from Trump, bear crawled to the perfect vantage point as bystanders alerted police and was still able to take 8 shots at Trump.
• Parked a vehicle full of explosives near the Trump rally
• Crooks was able to walk around the premises after Snipers took a photo of him looking suspicious.
• A sniper located in the second story window was only 40 feet away from Crooks and didn’t neutralize him.
• Trump was still able to take the stage after Crooks was pegged as suspicious by Secret Service.

I don't know we need to ask the counter sniper that sent the text. How easy is it to run the plates, he parked right next to them. Why would he said he knows you guys are up there, obviously he was on their radar at this point. Actually it is a strange text to me but I do not know how they communicate...

It was not me, house being cleaned? Thinking @bigredfish

I understand radio traffic, I have dealt with that in construction, we switched channels all the time. But 2 hours from when the first text went out to when LE climbed up to see him only minutes/seconds before the Shooter got off his shots, not even sure if a warning shot would of done anything other than hopefully make Trump crouch down. If this is security, it is not working and needs revamping...

This is a waveform of the audio pulled from a single video with one recording device. Nothing was done to the waveforms you see. There were sections removed from between the shots taken out so everything fits in one screenshot and everything can be heard back to back. The guy moves a little bit to find cover when the shooting starts. The shooting starts around 4:50.

Understand but "he knows you guys are up there" up where? Why say that. Just sharing my thoughts, there is alot of info that could be taken from this text in this guys thoughts without specifics being sent. I personally hate texting, it is very limited to all the details that someone could say instead of a short text.

After Jan 6 where there were many Feds in the crowd and Antifa in Trump hats, the security of a Trump event should be extra secure IMO.

No way for me to know if it’s real, the reporter is not known for reporting bad info.
But because he didn’t personally hand it to me, and CNN hadn’t reported it yet, it must be bogus.
We should know more in a few years.

It may have been a misprint or an inaccurate summation. A number of other news sources state he used aliases to make 25 firearms related purchases. The CNN article includes a quote from Kevin Rojek, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Pittsburgh Field Office. “Starting in the spring of 2023, the subject made more than 25 different firearms related purchases from online firearms vendor using an alias.”
