In this case, as I mentioned, there's not enough public information to determine if it that one sentence you have determined to be a lie is a lie or not.

Sigh...the "you" is a general person, not you specifically. In this instance, the author's case is made weaker with the lies and the intentional misleading.

You're entitled to that opinion, (got disconnected) right now there simply isnt enough publicly available information to know. The SS has so far decided to keep quiet and circle the wagons.

This is being blown up way out of proportion. Implies he was taking training. but no mention of anyone 'training' him. So he went to the range about once a week to shoot. He was not 'training', he was practicing or just plinking. Hell, when I was younger I was at gun ranges 3-4 times a week. That is what a hobby is.

Then to imply something strange is going on since LEOs train/practice there? The clubs I have belonged to over the years all had some law enforcement shooting there. Most even had a contract with some agencies for actual training and qualifying.

It's the same thing as "they saw the shooter 2 hours before he fired a shot." Yeah, but without being able to see into the future, there was no way for the people who saw the shooter 2 hours early, or for those who saw the shooter at the range, to know the shooter would become the shooter.

Notable observations include:

  • “U.S. Secret Service did not retrieve the radios that had been set aside for them by Butler County tactical command. The radio comms were properly and perfectly arranged during the extensive pre-mission planning.”
  • “All 8 casings (from shots fired by Crooks) were recovered and are allegedly in proper possession of the FBI.”
  • “The 9th shot fired on J13 was from a Butler SWAT operator from the ground about 100 yards away from the AGR building. Shot 9 hit Crooks’ rifle stock and fragged his face/neck/right shoulder area from the stock breaking up.”
  • “The 10th (and, I believe, final) shot was fired from the southern counter-sniper team.”
  • “My effort to examine Crooks’ body on Monday, August 5, caused quite a stir and revealed a disturbing fact… the FBI released the body for cremation 10 days after J13.”
  • “The water tower was cleared by drone J13 AM by the County tactical commander, ESU Commander Lenz himself.”

-The radio thing is disturbingly not surprising. A number of feds believe locals are below them so they would hesitate to need to rely on locals.
-I think the casing thing was pretty much know but it's nice to have as much independent confirmation as possible.
-I had read/heard somewhere the 9th shot was from a local swat shooting from ground level near the white vip tents behind the stage. I don't remember where I read/heard that info. But I didn't hear that shot hit anything.
-Given the tree blocking the north team, I think the south team firing the 10th shot isn't surprising.
-That's quite disturbing.
-Based on all the body cam footage, it looks like the locals had a pretty good handle on the water tower.

A couple of other interesting observations and the quote from the preliminary report.

It looks like no counter-snipers was standard for former POTUS.
"According to my investigation, USSS had never, prior to J13, assigned a counter-sniper team to a former POTUS, including Trump. I will not be 100% certain of this assertion without further investigation into documented records, but USSS counter-sniper teams stated clearly to ESU Command that they had never been deployed to a former POTUS event, nor had they heard of a prior deployment by other USSS counter-sniper teams."

The SWAT operator who took the 9th shot was a total badass.
