Okay I will hard wire from this BI PC to my office. I was not sure if it people controlled their BI PCs via a WiFi on their LAN. Thanks
Do you happen to have a link to the seller you bought your PC from on Ebay? I'm looking for something similiar and sometimes the sellers have several of the same PC's and they just list another one once one sells.

Personally I'd wipe the hard drive and reinstall Windows. Can't be too careful..... Any hard drive or SSD I got with a computer went straight in the bin.

Are some of them really that simple? I've got 7 more listed under the delivery fee. The most cryptic one is "Copco Iron Gate Dams Remv Schg for 8 day(s)".
My Illinois (ComEd) bill is crazy like that, for one month of "458 kWh @ 0.06977"
SUPPLY & DELIVERY: $65.16
CUSTOMER & METER fees: $16.45
Two (2) Distribution Charges: $16.76
Seven (7) different Tax lines totaling: $7.26
=================================
458 KWH cost $72.42 or ~15.8c/KWh.

, but my Colorado (Municipal Electric) one is significantly simpler:
750 kWH @ 0.0755
750 kWH @ 0.0872
976 kWH @ 0.0999
+ $12.40 monthly service fee
+ $8.19 city sales tax
===================================
2476 kWH cost $240.12 or ~9.7 c/KWh (avg).

For me, moving to newer computers for everything BUT Blue Iris had a bigger impact than expected because a) when they were on they drew less power but b) because old computers took longer to boot, it was common just to leave them ON for convenience, now almost everyone turns their computers OFF because they boot in 30 seconds. Since Blue Iris runs 24x7 it's a smaller deal, probably something like $2/month.

That is what I figured but is there a good place to go to buy one besides eBay? Seems they are all in the 600ish range. I already have the 2 3.5 western digital HDD’s from my old set up. One is a 8TB and the other is 4TB.

Someone recently got the same one you posted for $340 and that is about the right price. He posted in another thread recently. Here: Did I make a good choice on Blue Iris PC?

That is what I paid for my slightly bigger form factor ProDesk mini tower(MT) version. So seems to be about the going price for one of the EliteDesk or ProDesk i5-8500 at this point. The ProDesk MT can take 2x 3.5" HDD, but I doubt I will ever need to put a second drive in. Maybe though.

The Elitedesk 800 G3 similarly equipped seems a bit more plentiful at the $300 range. Processor is a bit slower i5 7500. Not sure of any other differences. Any opinions on the G3?

I initially asked the same question, if you read this entire thread. Go for the i5-8500 as it will need less juice in electricity (a cost savings in the long run) and be much more powerful. Hang in there you should be able to get one for no more than $350 shipped if your willing to keep looking for a bit. Look for both the Elitedesk and Prodesk.
