According to the President, it may be real...or it may not be real. But whatever it is, it's Obama's fault.

I never get headaches, but I've had one for the past 2-weeks. Runny nose for 2-weeks also. Congestion is getting worse not terrible but it's increasing. Started sneezing yesterday. Inside for the past 7-days, home from work for the past 5-days. I don't feel terrible but something's wrong...I feel sick. I've stayed home out of concern that I may have the ConJoboVirus and, if I do, I was worried that I may spread it to others...particularly folks I've worked with for decades, one of whom has Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD). If she gets sick she's gonna be in trouble. But fuQit: the President says there is nothing to worry about...and -- apparently -- there's isn't because I don't warrant testing...so I'm going out shopping at Costco today. I'll be certain to post a Toilet Paper Advisory Alert (TPA) when I get there fellas.

I'm going out.
Hey @Q™

Chances are you don't have it. Fever - that's the typical indicator. Watch for that.

Hoping you're feeling better soon

They dont just lead, the demolish. For example in the week of Feb 3 - feb 9 they had 4.4 million viewers. MSNBC had 1.6. CNN 1.1.
Far and away, the Republicans and Fox News most definitely have a vastly superior lie-producing-network-machine in place...HOWEVER...the Democrats are working very hard to catch up. This is a veritable BULLSHIT ARMS RACE with no truth too small to bend, twist, distort, or deceive Americans.

Lol. The left has had a lie producing system in place for many years it’s called the mainstream media they controlled it and they lie. The reason fox and talk radio Is so successful is because they expose those lies. The Democratic Party has become to Socialist party

That’s why it’s a good idea to get the facts from primary sources

This map shows where and how many:

I don't know if this has been posted before. The numbers are not correct because they have not been testing. The CDC has only done 77 tests in the last week. The individual states have only done on average 100 each in the last week. Total failure as far as testing goes. Too much denial and inept management by those appointed to departments responsible for protecting Americans.

My wife was admitted by our GP under COVID-19 protocol. Pneumonia all lobes, fever and dry cough. She was patient zero for this hospital and news of her being admitted spread through the hospital like wildfire. They were freaked out. She works at an international airport. She was discharged and is recovering at home. She could not get tested. The Dr., not our GP, refused to test her because she had not been overseas. She had severe chills a couple days before being admitted. On the day she was admitted I also had severe chills for about twelve hours and a 100-101 fever for two days. The worst chills I have ever had. I am 65. A headache ever since. Do we have it? Who knows. Can we infect others if we have it? Again an unknown.

This is why the infection rate is going to explode and overwhelm the system. Ignoring the problem early on and not slowing it down will have deadly consequences. We have self isolated but I am sure many out there will not. When the system gets overloaded doctors will have to decide who will live and who die. These decisions are now being made in Italy. We are a week to ten days behind them. Be safe out there.
Thanks for sharing your story. Sorry to hear about your illness. Sounds miserable.
Hope you and your wife recover quickly. Our thoughts are with you. Please keep us update.

Q - sorry to hear about your illness. I would agree with the other post regarding your temperature. I'd monitor that closely. The headaches is probably from watching the news and the stock market tanking. The rest sounds like a cold or seasonal allergies. Good for you for hunkering down except for the lapse in doing a Costco run. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

Why are you constantly introducing politics into this?

My wife is tenacious. She even called the CDC. I feel sorry for whoever she talked to. She is finally getting tested later today and was told it would take two weeks for results... SMH
Excellent!!! We need more citizens like her! Push hard on those we pay to help protect society.

( btw - for those following this, various state's unemployment insurance policies may have recently been updated for COVID-19 info,.. so do check if you are impacted by this - i.e. layoffs, reduced hours, sick time, caring for family members.. )

Costco was busy but
Why are you constantly introducing politics into this?
Because the leader of our country says it is political. Because the lefties say it is political. Because it is GERMANE to the discussion. Let me help you out with that…

I just got back from my local Walgreens and the shelves w. hand wipes, toilet paper, disinfectant were all bare. The clerk said that all the other stores (even non-Walgreens) were in a similar shape. The virus hasn't even hit here yet.

Meawhile, over at the local Costco, toilet paper and wipes are nowhere to be found and bottled water is going fast. The store was busier than usual, but not packed. However, All of the shoppers struck me as strangely reserved and silent. The checkout belt has always creeped me out, and given the current state of affairs I decided to leave all my items in the cart and asked that they be hand-scanned directly in the cart. One of the checkout ladies seemed offended by this; she gave me a disapproving look. I told her “everything is going to be ok”. And indeed I have no doubt that everything is going to work out just fine. But I have to say that this entire affair has shown me — one again — how little appreciation I have had in the past for the blessings my life has provided.

Went to Sam's, Walmart, Aldi this morning for weekly shopping. Saw a few folks wearing masks.

Sam's was packed, 2 case water per customer limit...everyone had two cases of water, paper towels gone, Klenex cases down to the last few boxes, It looked every bit like a pre-hurricane event. Long lines to checkout.

Walmart wasn't crowded but it looked like the hordes had been there the day before. 2/3 of canned goods gone, Ramen gone...one dude telling his wife there wasn't any spaghetti noodles and most pasta was in fact gone.

Aldi was typical. Plenty of everything although I didn't look at TP, paper products, water, soap....probably all gone.

I still don't understand why TP is in short supply....also, canned goods cleared out of Walmart was interesting. Do they think the power company is going to shut down because of Corona? Is there a hurricane Corona off the coast of FL?

Standing incheckout line now. Mostly snacks for kids to eat while home eLearning for the next month. Many shelves emptied including meats. Don't these people know the factories are still producing and trucks are still delivering? I predict full shelves next week And full trash toters the week after that as hoarded perishables spoil.

I Think it is because people have a tendency to follow along with hysteria and panic. One group of people got the impression that TP was essential for survival of this virus, video surfaced of women fighting over TP in Australia, and it goes viral in this connected age, and without thinking some think they have to follow suit.

If you were in the woods and someone ran past you screaming BEAR, or LION, but you could not see the bear or lion, are you going to just stand there? Probably not, you'd hightail it after that person who ran past you, probably even overtaking them

I was down to my last 2 rolls yesterday, went to the local and bought another 2 packs of 6.
